Has anyone else stopped getting the warm feeling from heroin?

I no longer get that warm feeling or a euphoric feeling no more either for that matter. I Sniff it i dont iv. If anyone else has had this happen and would like to share please do! And if anyone knows what would have caused me to no longer get that warm feeling or euphoria i would really appreciate it if u shared, i really want to know whats happened!
 
Generally this would be because of tolerance. But I do know that as my tolerance has went up and then I used more in order to get the same feeling I still was never able to achieve the same feeling that you are talking about. But, as they say, you will never feel the same as that first time you use, or even just in general, in the beginning of when you first start using. No matter what, it will never be the same. So your answer is tolerance. The only way you might feel that same feeling again would be to stop using for quite a long time...and even then it may never be exactly as good.
 
what i dont understand is that when i do oxycodone i still get a warm feeling and euphoric but not with heroin.

Very odd.

Oxycodone is generally rated as (and I agree) FAR less euphoric than H (of course this is all subjective, but it is consensus). People rate morphine or heroin at the top with oxycodone ect next. Personally I think poppy tea is the best for it's long duration and euphoria... Several people I know agree, and they've tried it all.

What dosage are you taking of heroin, and of oxycodone? Remember, oxycodone you know the exact amount your taking, if you take a 30 mg roxicodone, there is 30mg of oxycodone.

There is NOT 30mg of diacetylmorphine (heroin) in street heroin.

So if you take .1 of heroin, do not expect it to be equal to 100mg of oxycodone. It isn't. Not even close.

Here, I'd say it's closer to something like 40 or even less. But it varies by day/location/phase of the moon.

No one mentioned that. They might even know what the hell you're talking about if they've never watched south park, which is "Chasing that high, as your tolerance grows, you take more, it grows, repeat."

"Chasing the dragon" other meaning then the one above is to smoke drugs off of foil
 
The last time I did oxy was like a month n a half ago I snorted 30mg and eat 30mg, It gave me a little "rush" and made me warm and eurphic but wasn't noddy.

For heroin I've been sniffing 3 bags (some pretty good stuff) and it takes my pain away and makes me noddy and fucks with my vision sometimes.

Are "bags" points? They don't sell like that here, that's the north east.... If so, that would make sense, as I understand it, it is a bit more pure than tar. I don't really have any experience there though.

It's probably from tolerance. You do them at once?
 
Yes. And and in my area dope is really good compared to most areas in the us. Except for like NJ and philly. And yes I do 3 at once sometimes I've even tried doing 4 but that just makes me really noddy but still no euphoria or warm feeling im used to. All it does is take my chronic lower back pain away and takes my stress and anxiety and everything away

i realize this. i probably shouldn't assume ppl would get this reference. whatever. my post had little value, i can agree with that. but it is true... its hard to recreate ur honeymoon with opiates. i promise I'm not some dumbass that quotes south park all the time (ever?).

to the op, i apologize. tolerance is all i can think of. maybe the dope is not as good as u think? as was mentioned, there's no way to accurately convert one to the other.

You need to not take more, because that is dangerous. Chasing that euphoria that your not getting if your passing out will only lead to your death or an OD. 4 make you nod, not hard to see how 5 could kill you with a few beers, or 6 by itself.

Your using because you have chronic lower back pain? Or for the stress and anxiety. Are you sure that isn't caused by lack of opioids?

Maybe you need to decide what you want, euphoria, or analgesia (painkilling)? Chasing the first will kill or you'll be in jail. My suggestion is to try a maintenance drug like methadone if it you are really having pain. You could probably get by on like 20mg a day, and it is a very good pain killer (unfortunately the analgesic effects don't last as long as the withdrawal killing ones), but still. It beats paying whatever (don't mention not allowed) and working to obtain them to self medicate.

Be honest, which is more important, analgesia or euphoria?

It only had little value because you didn't elaborate on the meaning.
 
When I was up to two grammes a day IV heroin, I had to do .5 shots to get anything out of them. The euphoria really was pretty much disappearing. I wasn't sure if the dope was becoming trash or what, but with my connect...I really doubt it!

What I find odd is OP says they're nodding off with no euphoria from H, and still has analgesia...? Another opioid maybe?

I have never been to the point of nodding without feeling good, unless I was too fucked up and nauseous.
 
I think this answer is simple as I have been posting similar stuff recently, I'm a heavy oxy/hydro user and my warm euphoric feeling has left me. Even the itchies have stopped for me.... If I take my max dose of 500 mg hydro I just MAYBE get noddy like 2 or 3 hours into taking the dose but that's just a combination of me being tired.

I was just curious if u were to transfer oxy or hydro to heroin how much heroin would equal 500 mg of hydro or like 450 mg oxy? I'm just wondering

That is only a question I could answer, if you had available pure diacetylmorphine. And then there are even different places citing different ratios

Otherwise, street "heroin" is of such variable consistency that there is nothing comparable.

It would be a lot.

I take 150mg of oxycodone to get high, and that is equal to like .4-.6g of tar.

Don't take this as equal at all.

That addiction is not sustainable (it'll just keep going up), unless you're fucking ultra rich, or you own a pharmaceutical company :)
 
Ya I usually dont take 4. This last weekend I took 4 and got a case of beer and I start to and I knew it was no good. I just made each beer last a hr
 
I just dont see how tolerance could be the cause of not becoming warm or euphoric anymore. because tolerance just means u have to do more for the same affect, and i do do more then i used to. i started out needing 1 bag, then 2 and now 3 or 4
 
That progression of bags well...honestly, it might stop. I don't need to shoot more than say above 60mgs of hydromorphone, but I think that's due to the fact that I just don't load up more than that, the idea makes me wanna cry. It was dope made my tolerance that sky high tho, the equivalent amount of dope is a lot of money!

I'd like to tell you that a tolerance break will sort you out, but that's only if you were able to keep your use casual, and we all know that's not ever gonna happen with dope.
 
I honestly dont see a difference between the addictiveness of oxy and heroin. Maybe im just lucky, if be would say that lol.
 
This is just tolerance.

I Would also like to say that, heroin and morphine are on top of the natural/semi natural food chain.

Some metabolites are even better. :)
