Favourite tryptamine

Hmm so it seems aMT is the superior one compared to my liking (which tends to be the case with all methyl vs ethyls), I still wouldn't turn AET down if it came my way.

I'm surprised 4-ACO-DMT beat psilocin. I've never tried pure psilocin but I do prefer psilacitin over mushrooms, thought I was the minority.
 
I'm a bit surprised 4-HO-MET is trailing right behind them. I've always held a soft spot for 4-HO-MET as my favorite 4-sub but never seems like it's given enough credit. I'd bet acetlyated psilocin beat psilocin for the same reason that most probably haven't tried psilocin without the likes of baeocystin and friends.
 
4-HO-MET, 4-HO-MiPT, and 4-AcO-MiPT are easily top for the best of the 4-subs but 4-AcO-DMT was literally EVERYWHERE while 4-HO-MiPT and 4-AcO-MiPT have been relatively obscure (4-AcO-MiPT was pretty much gone for awhile after WebTryp took down the NY vendor that had the hygroscopic batch that was still incredible) and 4-HO-MET got hard to find for awhile too.

One of the best Chinese sources of tryptamines is gone now so that is part of it.

There was no nausea/negative bodyload, it is more of an emphathogen than a psychedelic i would say. There are no visuals at all except maybe mild closed eye patterning, and I noticed it made my vision blurry or fuzzy, though not in a very impairing way. It also seemed to make colors brighter, or just gave the world a new and interesting filter. The headspace was a weird blend of aspects of MDMA and aspects of Mushrooms or 4-AcO-DMT. The body feel is very mushroom/DMT like in that it is heavy and relaxing. Its a great drug for just laying around on the couch with friends and listening to music.

To second Sherminator2, that is AET in a nutshell. Bummer for me, I used all of the AET I had in a (feeble) attempt to withdrawal from suboxone. It didn't work at all, but I did get to experience it and yeah...it was what he he said. On the other hand, I am not quite sure I really liked it....it wasn't negative but little useful headspace and I am not sure it offers anything unique over MDMA.

Re: favorites...I think the only tryptamine I just didn't like was 5-MeO-DIPT. I tolerated it at 6mg but there was still not a single reason to take it when a dozen better things were around. It was incredibly unsexy material.

My real favorites are the 'naturals'...DMT, 5-MeO-DMT, bufotenine and psilocin. I just LOVE 5-MeO-MiPT (only had it smoked), 5-MeO-MET, MET, MiPT, oh they are all great. Iprocin, and metocin are good stuff, and miprocin is A1 material. Never had any of the MPTs.

Still not had AMT but I know a tryptamine lover I wish to share some with. :)
 
That's difficult, only tryptamine I haven't liked thus far was 4-HO-MIPT. DPT was the first psychedelic I ever tried and it's long been one of my favorites so I'm gonna call a tie between DPT and DMT. Top 5 would be:

1. Tie between DMT and DPT
2. LSD
3. Psilocin
4. 4-HO-MET
5. 4-AcO-DMT

I'd love to get my hands on some aMT

and out of all the compounds, he's invented for him to single this one out as Weird Ass Shit.

Anyone ever try 5-MeO-DET? That is also supposed to be a strange one....some claim uses at under a mg but I don't know any first hand trials. Procured some but not gonna try it. Same with 5-MeO-DPT....which is said to have less strange ass shit about it as compared to the DET homologue.

one of the benefits to living in the UK, aMT is legal, cheap and easily available.

I thought it was a really good drug in some ways, lovely euphoria, visuals and a trippy headspace that you can sort of sink in and out of when you choose (doesn't force it on you like acid and stuff, you can easily stay in some degree of reality if you like, but then if you like you can focus on the trippiness and loose yourself in it a bit. )

the body load killed it for me though, too much stimulation and too much nausea.

anyway I'm just gonna go for LSD as my fave tryptamine. AL-LAD a close second.
 
I haven't done Aya yet either... yet reading about Aya on Erowid way back when I was a teenager is what first got me interested in psychedelics in the first place. The irony.
 
5-meo-det, sounds silly.
The world spins and you feel incredibly horny.
An Adventure with no direction and a glowing in your nethers.

HO MET or ACO DMT, aMT then Aco Mipt, Ho Mipt, Ho DMT (synthetic). Shitters 5 meo mipt/dipt. I don't know but if people are lsiting "acid" then fuck it ALD 52 kicks ass on acid. Not sure about LSZ not a big fan have not tried Al LAD. aET as in alpha ethyl tryptamine? never had the privilage. DIPTs not my favs but are ok except any meo dipt/mipt/dmt shithouse. DMT, DMT + MAOI.
