Opioids hydrocodone not working

af first when i took 1 or 2 pills i got a buzz. but if i ever go over 4 pills i get this toxic over run feelings, basically all sides and no buzz. and yes i do remove the tylenol /cold water extraction.

this is just the fact.


since vicodin is a pro-drug it has to be activated by the liver enzyme to hydromorphone. my liver cant convert hydrocone to hydromorphone instead it converts all to the other thing wich causes all the sides.

my question is did this happen to anyone else? i have never used oxycodone but am praying that it works as it is not a pro-drug.
 
If you take 1-2 does it still work or does any amount feel toxic now? Hydrocodone seems to have that effect in some people, that you can get some buzz off doses under 20-30mg, but higher than that produces an increase in nausea and other unpleasantness without a corresponding increase in analgesia/euphoria. This is one reason hydrocodone is typically only used as a low-dose short-term painkiller, given as a compositional drug with other active ingredients (ie. Vicodin has Tylenol/APAP to discourage heavy use).

It does happen to me a little, in that I find that hydrocodone produces more nausea than oxycodone in recreational (vs pain management) doses.

There is such a thing as taking too much of an opioid. At higher doses the "bad side effects" start to predominate - nausea, dizziness, etc. This happens with every opioid.

And of course, if you use opioids, then you will become tolerant to the effects that make you feel good.

Hydrocodone is actually not a prodrug - it has effects at the opioid receptors all on its own and doesn't need metabolic activation like codeine does.

Now you can stop. Because soon you will be taking 20 pills a day and wonder what happened.

I remember when 1 or 2 would do the trick. That was the best High ever, and never did 20 pills even come close to those days.

Also,,,, Why CWE with 2 pills?

lol true, when you tried oxycodone did it give you a buzz?

Hell yeah! I remember taking half the blue pill and having the greatest time. ( blue being roxy 30 mg)

Not more than 8 days ago I was eating 10-12 blue and like 12 norcos a day. Just barely to equalize myself it seemed.
