Unable to administer drugs sublingualy

I have tried many drugs that are supposed to be able to enter the body through sublingual administration.

But never had any of them worked for me taken that way (if I swallowed them or snorted them, they work so there is nothing wrong with the drugs).

So my question is: Is it possible to be "immune" against sublingual administration?

what are some of the drugs that you're trying to administer sublingualy?

homeless -> basic

Simply, no. Essentially differing ROA effect the BA of the drug. SL generally has a higher BA due to close proximity to superficial blood vessels whereby the drug is able to absorb and enter straight into circulatory system (opposed to ingestion which leads typically to a first-pass metabolism - GI tract > lymph/hepatic portal system > portal vein > liver > circulatory system).

As nyashin said, specifically the drug would help explain further (for instance certain medications *must* follow the first-pass metabolism pathway to be active).

Edit: another possibility - you have very few superficial SL vessels meaning less absorption than most. Lol.

Only problem I've had fucking up sublingual is accidentally getting it elsewhere in my mouth. Sucks for drugs that are also local anesthetics, or taste awful. :p

"Hey guys I just took some PRL-8-53 sublingually and... eh fahk no meh mooth eh tarting eh ga noomb, fahk fahk fahk"

Ambien/zolpidem and psilocybin are two that I was told would work but I felt nothing from.

LOL! +1

Couldn't count the number of times I've dribbled attempting to purchase something from the shops after dosing ORT (SL Bupe). :| :( Embarrassing much?!!? :! It's hard to be polite without saying your "Pleases" and "Thank yous"!
