Unless theres a difference in hit your looking for via these methods that I haven't tried.
Pretty sure that's the case. Can't speak for anybody else but when I shot coke I did it for the rush. The bigger the rush the better. I want to be left reeling - rabbit-in-the-headlights pupils, ears ringing, vision throbbing, heartrate going through the roof and pouring rivers of sweat - in the aftermath of each hit. And I want each hit to be stronger than the last. This is precisely how and why doses can get sillyhigh when IVing stuff like coke - you're chasing an already extreme experience and trying to make it even more intense. You definitely wouldn't get away with sitting in a pub chatting with mates or whatever. And wouldn't want to be cos you need to be working on the next hit as soon as you've got one in and people are just a distraction. I barely even took time to really enjoy the rush cos I was so concerned with getting the next one prepped. This is totally different from the kinda casual coke use most probably think of. Rather, this is what IV coke use looks like. Did to me and those I knew anyway.
Addictive/compulsive use is a world away from casual, controlled, recreational use and IV is obviously a fast-track to addiction so of some relevance here. Obviously you may not last long if you go balls out on your very first shot but after that first one you're gonna know your dose anyway. Not everybody who tries injecting is gonna switch to it exclusively but plenty will. I think anybody thinking about IVing their DoC for the first time needs to really think about why they want to do so. Why do they want that particular experience knowing that it's all about getting as insanely high as is physically possible without actually dying? Are they ready for this to take over their life completely? Do they really think they can leave it as a one-off?
Not ODing first time out comes pretty low on the list, in my experience, cos anyone likely to be considering IV use probably has pretty hefty experience and/or tolerance and probably has a good idea of their own limits and the kinda coke they happen to have available to them, People who don't already hang around habitual IV users really should think long and hard about deciding to try IV use cos they not only have a number of questions surrounding potential changes in lifestyle than tend to come attached to IV use, they also don't have people around in the flesh to get advice about stuff like dose from the perspective of somebody who knows the coke scene there and would (hopefully) know what to do should there be any immediate issues. Shooting up alone is pretty risky at the best of times really, but especially so if you've never done it before.
