Thats why Im asking - i can get 60 quid teenths but its poor quality or 40% + for a tenner a point and it tastes nice not that horrid bashy taste, and strong...just like all gear use to be pre winter 2010. I dont get it bumper crops in 'stan, the gear we thought was all going to russia is v expensive in the scheme of things for them - i think maybe its being stashed as insurence should the taliban need alot of cash quick. Going by the estimated number of hectares being farmed (over 100,000) there would be 100's of tonnes of gear being refined - maybe we will get lucky like we did when the taliban were kicked out in 2001 or so and gear was (well the cheapest i was getting was £30 a g or 1/4 for £170) lovely grey brick...ah must stop torturing myself : (
 
^^The heroin in the US isn't as good as it should be either...we still get plenty of decent stuff that still gets you nodding, but it takes between .25-.50 to catch a decent nod...There's plenty of dope here that an entire gram won't get an experienced user properly high...

The point is...you're not alone! Someone's calculations must be a bit off...If Afghanistan is producing more opium then ever, why would there still be mostly garbage on the streets there? Surely someone would come along with better stuff and steal all the customers if it was available...very strange situation...
 
stop mixing metric and imperial, that's the sort of thing that brings down space shuttles! (obviously that's a lie, NASA uses metric, they just forget to leave room for minus signs).

sat in the chair for an hour while they tried to find a vein
no luck there so i have another appointment for 8th jan with senior dentist
only no guarantee that he can do it
and every time i go,i get so scared it makes me sick
the only reason i can go on with this is that midazolam IV
fucking dentists are useless

1st post for a looooooooooong time. I've only gone back a couple of pages, will read more in due course. Good to see some of the old drought heads about, salutations to you all, hope you are all in good health both mental and physical, or as good as possible anyway. Thought it was fitting I checked this place out whilst having a boot given its the drought's 3 year anniversary(ish), it started for me my ends round about halloween. Well actually shortly before that - Halloween 2010 was the last time (during the drought) that I scored a quarter of good kit, before that became a very hard thing to find. Not gonna wish the drought a happy birthday tho cos it's a cunt! A right proper cunt of a cunt! Anyhow it did have some positives, not least this forum. Interesting to read about stevesircull (hi dude) talk about gledwood's forum, as that was the first place I discovered relating to the drought.

So anyway, for me the gear is generally pretty good, I can score nice stuff in my native Somerset - proper moreish chunky, dark, speckle-ey, soft tackle that you could smoke all day and all night long, at pretty reasonable prices. This'll be your standard 40% ish 'pre'drought' tackle. In Nottingham quality varies a lot, there has been some blinding stuff, and I know that this stuff is readily available to the dealers. But a lot of dealers still wanna cut their product, which is fucking annoying. But it's a positive that they at least have access, and the option to buy really decent tackle. Sometimes they put the uncut stuff out there but when they do it goes quick and it seems they do it as a bit of a loss leader to get the customers back. However, whats standardly available isn't bad. I'm trying to convince the ones I know to not cut their product or at least offer it for a higher price. Hopefully that'll happen.

Blondin - ur still gettin ripped off fella believe me, as someone else said the dealers must fukkin love you! £100 for 1.2 grams of 40% pure? You're very lucky to be a lightweight, dont mean that offensively, I so wish I was, but clearly you are very susceptible to the effects of opi's and good luck to ya!

I remember going onto Gledwoods blog at the start of the drought as well. It was full of folk from all over the country in a panic about the sudden lack of gear available and trying to find new connects etc.
Anyway,good to see you are still about mate
 
Hi Guys! :) I'm just popping in to say a quick hello! Great to see everyone still posting here! Great to see PapaverSom, Steve, Blondin (to name just a few) all back on here again. I think I saw Strungout on recently too. I hope everyone is keeping well. Kat, sorry to hear your dentist appointment didn't go well :( Its a pain having that hanging over you.

How is the gear in the UK? Sounds like mixed reports, but a lot of good reports, which is a good sign. I read that Afghanistan had a record high poppy harvest this year, I wonder if it will make a difference? How are you getting on Maxalfie? Are you still on a break from the H? Hope your doing well mate.

I'm crazy busy lately, I'm so tired that I could drop. I'm in college full time, and thankfully I'm back working again. YAY! I'm on the go seven days a week though. Every single morning, seven days a week my alarm clock goes off at 7:30am. *BUZZZzzzz....* My next day off is a few days before Christmas, if I make it that far without collapsing! ;)

I haven't used gear in a few weeks. My drug tests continued to come back positive for Benzos even though I hadn't taken any Benzo, I only use gear. The same thing was happening to Mr. Ructions, so the Doctor gave us our final warning. (We'd had a few final warnings!;)) If we continue to fail our drugs test we will lose our take away methadone. I can't lose my take away script because of work and college, but my Doctor isn't interested in that. I hadn't used gear in over four weeks, but my drugs test still came back positive for Benzos. Benzos take ages to leave my system, heroin leave my system much faster. Its so frustrating when I didn't even knowingly take the poxey Benzos.

So, as a result I haven't scored in nearly five weeks. I never normally make it longer then six weeks without giving in and scoring, so I am very near cracking point. My cravings are off the scale! 8( Another side effect of not using gear is insomnia, even though I'm wrecked tired I still can't sleep. And of course because I'm an addict my Doctor won't give me anything to help me sleep, so eventually I will give in and score. Its a vicious circle, one we are all very familiar with...... (Oh I tell a lie, my Doc gave me hay-fever tablets, even though I don't have hay-fever. He told me they might help me sleep. Eh? They didn't work, no surprise there!)

On a positive note I am loving college, <3 I love Sociology, Psychology, Behavioral Studies. Its great studying things that I'm really interested in. I'm hoping to find out why I obsess about heroin so much, but I don't think there is an answer to that question besides coz heroin is nice, simple as that. ;) I wish I could afford to give up work and just concentrate on my studies, but I can't afford to. I might start playing the lotto! You never know!

Anyway, I just popped into say a quick hello, but as usual I end up writing a full length essay! Its so nice to see everyone still posting on here. Yeah PapaverSom, it is the three year anniversary of the big bad H drought. The quality of the gear in Dublin has improved a lot, but its still not as good as it was before the drought.

Such sad news about Pontifix :( He was so young, its so tragic.... RIP mate. <3

I hope everyone else is well? Great to see Brims, Kat, Maxalfie, Pinky, Julie (did you read any good books lately Julie?) Ledbury, Louie, Class A, Wcote, Trypt, Opiaterock (whats the story with all the Irish lads getting hard-ons when yous use??? What kind'a gear are yous taking? Tee~Hee! ;) ) Oooooh, I wish I hadn't started naming people coz I know I'm leaving people out. (sorry!) But I hope you are all keeping well and looking after yourselves. Its great to be back on Bluelight! I'll sign off for now, coz I've loads of homework to do (yep, homework at my age! Ridiculous or what?!) but I'll talk to you all again soooooon! <3
 
Hello ructions, good to here you are keeping nice and busy! College and work that's a lot on your plate!

Its a shame if you use gear it keeps on coming up for benzos, its no doubt a mix in the gear. I guess its a throw up us gear which could be tainted with benzos but then risk your meth not being on take away.

We I was in the subbies I was allowed to test positive for benzos and it didn't affect having takeaway for subbies. Things are set up different across the UK from what I have seen let alone in Ireland! Then again I got off my script in 2011 so maybe things have changed since then here as well!

1.2 is pricey but in the end its more important blondin getting good gear and is happy than getting suite. Not saying peope arent getting the same quality for less £. Just better to have nice stuff than bash.
 
Hi Papaversom - same story here - last time I managed to score anything decent b4 the drought was halloween night and although it ended up being pretty good there were signs that all was not well in paradise - i remember it being really viscous and difficult to run - still pretty strong tho of course it sticks in my mind as it was to be my last nod for 5 months...

Hi ructions - wounder about the positive tests but otherwise it sounds like your cracking on with things nicely. I can imagine how much you must be croaking for a smoke but to go 5/6 weeks without even dipping your toe into the water is good going whatever axe you have dangling over you. These things were sent to test us they were never supposed to be easy.

Hi kat - what a fucking polava im really sorry i know how stressed you were sounding about the whole thing. On the midazolam subject - ive had it a few times (yum yum!) by the way of expired buccal suspensions for epilepsy. While not exactly IV the onset was still really rapid (< 2 minutes ) could this sort of preperation or other roa be something you could discuss with your dentist or do they need IV access for flumenzil if needed?

Yeah.They do need a line in.I had diazepam when having an extended fit-but they nearly always put it up your ass-not very nice but it is a rapid onset-no dentist is putting anything up my ass.
thing is,it's not even from abusing my veins.I can't even use IV cos of this.I am pretty sure I could do a better job myself but they won't let me do that.I also have to have my blood tested every month as I am on methotrexate(also used for treating Leukaemia especially in children)-so every month I have to go through all this.The nurses and the phlebotomist at my surgery cannot do it but with a little help,one of the GPs can usually get me.So even when I go back in January,I am anticipating the same outcome so they will then refer me to the hospital-which they should have done 7 months ago.But how many more infections do I have to tolerate in the meantime?My teeth are in a bad way and all my fillings have fallen out.spend ages brushing and flossing my teeth every day.I have already had this treatment done at the hospital(in Birmingham,we are lucky enough to have a dental teaching hospital which is VERY good)about 4 times,and always having to get an anaesthetist to put the line in then it's all plain sailing from there.
Big problem is that every time,I get so worked up and scared-gives me the shits and makes me sick),so I wind up ill every time-and so now I have to go through it all again.
Can't do press-ups cos of my arthritis but gonna start doing dips instead-reckon if i can do a few months of this,will make my veins more prominent and amenable.
 
Dont know about dips bringing your veins out but if your triceps not strong you will end up with a bad shoulder
 
Just finished, managed to get 2 bags for the price of a half, very good quality too. Shame I had to wait 70mins to get served but it was brought right to my front door, oh wait I mean the entry to my cave of course.

Got big time itch atm, looks like I gone 10 rounds with Hellraiser.
Nothing better than to notch gear imo <3
 
Ah I have picked the worse time to contemplate giving up the gear...this piece I just bought now is the same lovely pale beige stuff I bn gettin the last 3 weeks... Nearly afraid to bang a shot of it not of Od'n but even a small shot has me fucked and i dont wanna be too stoned for work.. just smoking lines now It's really nice on the foil :)
