To continue my anthropomorphic methaphor of MXE to explain her personality (let's call her Maxine)- We all know she can be a real party girl. She lightens up a space. My friends all love her when we're together, whether or not they are actually with her. We'll laugh more, be excited more, and do more things we wouldn't have thought of. When we at a party, even if someone doesn't know her, they can be enchanted by the way she speaks of flowing freely through reality and Being in the Now. Her energy helps keep us close together-- a friend of her is a friends of mine, and it's good to know we're all connected-- Ya know, I'm not posessive or anything. I'll let her be with any of my good friends knowing that she still loves me.
She always has an interesting take on things, things that make us see the world in a different light- the most amazing things! It's like 'Damn they'll never talk about this stuff on Fox News'. LoL. We don't complain; it's a brilliant light. She makes abstract thoughts feel tangible and present throughout the material world. I'd rather not go back to being bored or feeling disenfranchised with life. If Maxine isn't blowing my mind or showing me how to dance, she is helping me find my center so I can come back to peace. She loves a balance of all. That's one of my favorite things about her.
Like many things, the less you are able to experience something you love, the better is seems when you get to experience it. The same principle applies to her. If she lives with me for a month and I see her every day, at the end, while I still love her, I feel the need to hang out with other people more often and not bring her along. She is too precious to hold onto forever. She needs to grow too! Don't be selfish.
And guys, just because she is really beautiful, smart, and alluring, don't go around with her and have some big inflated EGO like you're better than anyone else because you have a hot girlfriend. Be humble, for we all have the same great potential to flourish and actualize our highest selves. Be humble and maybe the two of you can even help others!
My favorite things about her? Her dynamism and unpredictability. She is almost always fun, but sometimes she can bring up some hard truths. They're hard lessons, and while it may hurt, she doesn't do it to be sadistic. She loves you too and wants to help you grow. For some reason, she motivates people into doing things they 'always want to do' but never really do. She pulls people out of ruts and cycles. We shouldn't be stuck in ruts too long, they make us dull and placid. She helps keep me on my toes by embracing the moment and creating a balanced, active and tuned-in life in mind, body and spirit.
