well, this day and yesterday my left armpit smells terrible for some reason. I took meth at thursday, aswell as mdma and cocaine at the evening. didn't sleep that night did the same process. I have done this many many times, I have never gotten that awful smell though. I take a shower every morning. today I shaved my armpits aswell, I usually leave it trimmed. smell was still there which wasn't that unexpected, then I showered and cleaned it very properly, applied a deodorant lots of it under both arms. still, after the shower my left armpit smelled like shit, after the deodorant it smelled a bit better for maybe 1-5 min then I could smell it again. I took a multivitamin and drink lots of water today, also used no drugs today. Even now like 15 hours later, I exercised for 30 min just now and sweated ALOT, yet my right armpit or any other place on the body doesn't smell at all, or did even smell in the beginning. Only my left armpit. I am aware stimulants make me sweat alot, but still it's always odorless. I'm wondering what causes my armpit to smell like this? I guess it will go away. Does it have anything to do with the stimulants? It's strange just that one region smells terrible after showers and shit when other's didnt smell in the first place.

Toxins. Might be overloaded with them lately? I find that if I drink, smoke cigs, eat bad, and then take my adhd meds, my sweat is worse. Trying to get all those toxins out. What you put in your body causes certain smells. Kinda like when you eat too much garlic and your sweat will smell like it too.

Kindly refer to this thread for any information you need in regards to your question.

In the future, please don't be shy to use the search engine. Keywords: amphetamines, odor; stimulants, odor; etc.

More sweat equals more foods for the bacteria that causes BO to increase more rapidly...

Just shower more while you are using.

It is quite normal.

Yeah, weird. I hate the smell/perspiration factor of stims. Off topic but I do notice (for the musicians) that stims increase my vocal range and stamina quite noticeably.

I'd take vocal empowerment over a foul left pit any day. Heh

Stimulants increase exertion. They also lead one to self grandiose thought patterns or beliefs...

Good point. That def is most likely the reason for stims benefitting something like vocal projection or any kind of physically strenuous process. The "self grandiose" element also plays a part but I'd say it doesn't hurt to point out that if you're in a studio, for instance, dubbing vocal tracks and you happen to have some adderall handy, it may be a good time to pop it. Your grandiose patterns will diminish along with your comedown and maybe the next day, with fresh ears, you can truly discover how grandiose you were feeling at the time.

Lol, yeah been guilty of that.
Listening on speed - "Yeah this is it, sounds fuckin perfect."
Next day - "I don't understand..."

Stimulants stimulate your sympathetic nervous system which is what activates when you're in high stress situations, like fighting space pirates. When your sympathetic nervous system is stimulated you tend to sweat. Something interesting however is that stress sweat is different from regular "it's hot in here" sweat. The sweat your body produces under stress contains ammonia, which in a pure form smells like cat piss. Now you can probably guess why you smell so rank after railing some speed and going for a run.

Human odor is caused by mercaptans in sweat and simple acids from bacteria metabolism...

You release more sugars when you are stressed in sweat.

Yes this is true for everyone. However while a body is under the influence of stimulants like amphetamines i feel another factor that would contribute to the stench would come into play. Lack of appetite experienced by stimulant users leads them to be rather under nourished for the period of use (which is largely dependent on dose, food eaten, physical activity ect.) After the human body uses up the available sugar and carbohydrates for muscle activity the muscles resort to amino acids. If you know your chemistry Amino acids consist of 4 groups (amine, r, COOH, and a hydrogen atom) which are broken down and used by your muscles for energy. Looking closely at the amine group you will notice that aside from a hydrogen atom, which is used by your muscles, is the chemical formula for ammonia, NH3. Which isn't used by your muscles and secreted through your sweat glands. Thus causing the smell worse then normal stress sweat...

The sleep deprivation for stimulants is also a major factor. Once you have enough sleep debt the stench can get so bad it makes you sick and showering with soap scrubbing only relieves it for about 15 minutes maximum before it creeps back. ADHD meds do the same (except shitty placebo Stratera).

I agree.

More compounds are also present from foods that are stored in fat reserves.

This could also be another reason why the tinge is quite different.
