when i smoke i smoke too much and always lose weight. i either don't smoke at all or I'm stoned 24/7. addictive personality woo.
Lately I've noticed a trend that I'm trying to break. When I'm high I turn into a compulsive binge eater, man. I eat 2-3 times more food when I'm high than when I'm sober... like, I'll smoke a bowl, go make something to eat, eat, come smoke another bowl and *boom* I'm right back in the kitchen. It's not even much of a problem, it just blows my mind how someone my size can gain or lose 5-10lbs in a weekend, all because of teh weed
I'm new around these parts... what's going on CD social...?
This thread is awfully quiet. California marijuana is overrated. Discuss.

A good deal of Californian cannabis is grown indoors, there is no special reason it would be different there than any where else. I get that California has a really good climate for outdoor Cannabis, so does a great deal of other places. Some of the argument probably boils down to the experience and knowledge of the growers and breeders and I do not dispute that they have many with a great deal of experience. People have grown cannabis all over the globe for thousands of years and there is undoubtedly a wealth of highly knowledgeable cannabis growers throughout the world. Not to mention that due to the internet, people everywhere have access to quality genetics and also a shitload of information on how to grow properly.
Whether weekend addiction was trolling or not I think there is a valid point to be made that Californian bud is probably a little over rated. I have never even smoked the stuff myself, never having visited the US, but it would seem to me that California has this reputation as THE mecca for cannabis, particularly among Californians, which cannot logically be entirely deserved. Two other States have legal cannabis, which Cali does not, I think around 20 States have medical marijuana in some form and there are at least a couple of those that apply a rather liberal view towards those laws, much like California.

I just find it baffling how many people claim that California bud is the best in the fucking world, when obviously, like anyone else, they have only smoked up in a limited number of places and it is just not sensible to categorically say that one place produces the best cannabis period. To be fair this does go on in a lot of places, but it would seem to me that there are a good number of vocal Californians who spout this claim more often than people from other places and it just seems a bit arrogant. For the record I am not accusing anyone in this thread of that.
