Yea, it isn't really her fault you have these feelings for her. It sucks what she said to you years ago ("nobody will love you like me") must echo through your mind when you try to find some reason to detach... She moved out in August.

We are still friends.

She says she is not whoring around anymore and I believe her because she is always broke. We had discussed that she'd have to sacrifice for a while if she did want to be in the habit of turning to men every time she needed money. I am actually very proud of her.

I also am not physically attracted to her any more ...well ok, sometimes she still gets me a little hot in the pants but I have seen too much of her real side to desire her the same way I used to.
