Heroin stings when snorting it

Is it unusual for powdered (white/barely noticeably tan) heroin to hurt a bit when you snort it ? Like say 2 mins of pain and a bit of eye watering. Does this indicate quality ?

It's keeping me outta oxy withdrawal and killing my pain and i was taking over 600 mgs a day so it must be something.

600mg a day?8( Oxycontin? Wow man, this is a super mega fucked up tolerance..I'm on fent patches, one 100mcgr/hr every 2 days, and i feel my tolerance fucked up...but since i'm on continuously fuckin pain, i can't reduce it..well, here in bl there are a lot of chronic pain patients, as me and you, and they can understand the situation..

As for the dope Whosa, i think it is unusual, but i'm sure that it must be a good quality dope, cause as you say it kills your pain and keeps you out of oxy 600mg a day w/d, so i'm sure that it can't be placebo, 600mg oxy is not a fuckin joke, so if it works is fine...though it's rare, i think, IME a dope that hurts when you snort it, i've come across this kind of dope once or twice, and as i can remember i think of normal quality...But of course that doesn't mean nothing, your dope must be good shit, otherwise you would be in pain and w/d, (well 600mg man, you really fucked it, heh?? :)). It's normal for a little bit of pain snorting anything... H normally though is pretty mellow as far as pain goes so it really shouldn't be too bad. The fact that it hurts so bad is more indicative of lesser quality dope (meaning it's cut with something that hurts when snorted). Good quality, purer dope, will not hurt when snorted.
 
I've had bomb ass dope that burned for a minute or 2 and made my eyes water but it was banging still. I've also had shitty dope that stung line a fire in my nasal passages.
 
Hmmmmm. Wish i had some sort of test kit. Its sure making this script gap fairly comfortable and as long as it isnt fkin up my sinuses too bad reckon i'll continue.

It causes a similar blockage as if id had a few lines of coke and it was from a coke dealer maybe he cut it.
 
Sounds like cut to me. When I was snorting dope I found it to be pain free and a wonderful experience. I loved the smell and taste of it. I never had dope that burned my nose.
 
I've never noticed much of a burn when snorting heroin. Sometimes a very slight one, more like a subtle tingling. If anything it is an enjoyable feeling of knowing it is getting absorbed well, because its more prominent when the nose is very clear (like if I haven't had some in a while).

Thats how I feel, too, it all mental. Or a slight burn makes me feel like my mucous membranes are clear so its absorbing really well.

I'll get a slight burn sometimes, couples with the eye watering, but it only lasts a minute tops. I usually associate it with good dope but then again I've had good stuff and bad stuff that burned, and good stuff and bad stuff that didn't. I actually prefer stuff that burns a tiny bit because in my head I feel that it's some kind of reaction happening in there from the actual drug, but again that's just in my head.
 
Compared to all the other drugs out there one would snort, H is actually really mellow on the nose as far as pain goes. Granted, I couldn't even tell you the last time I snorted anything it was so bloody long ago, hah, but thats how it went from what I remember.
 
I had good tan stuff that came in little rocks that would sting a bit. Kept suboxone withdrawal away for 24 hours from one bag.

Maybe it's how much you're doing. To cover a habit like that you must be doing a four bag line ffs.
 
Heroin doesn't really sting, maybe that's because I have no tolerance and don't usually do more than 20-30mg bumps.
There's definitely some discomfort but nothing like MDMA or 2c-x chems.
I would say it might be cut with something

+1 agreed. i didnt mind the burn to much either. it was a lot less of a burn compared to say methadone

Well, shit, of course it's cut with something. Almost all dope is cut with quinine, that's why it's so fucking bitter. If you were getting uncut dope your 30mg bump would probably have you seriously ill. That's like snorting 50 to sixty milligrams of oxy, IIR my conversion chart right.

Lol I'm afraid I'm quite far down the road with oxy and 160 mg lines are not out of the usual at all. I figure If I had less tolerance I probably would have said it was good as it was only when it ran out I realised how much of the oxy w/d and pain it was keeping away during my oxy script-gap.

But yeah def a coke-like cut IMO. Thanks for the opinions.
