Sorry yeah, just shows how unstable they are really, they only stay around a stable rate for what seems like a few weeks at a times, with massive peaks and drops.
 
Dont know if anyones mentioned but one of the replacement SR siteds, P:BF, the owners stolen everypones coins and done a runner. Be carweful guys

Yeah.. but he said sorry...so its all ok. But a site that was like 3 weeks old? You have to put some serious trust into people you dont know to deposit money into a new website like that...scam from the start and he ran away with hardly anything,.

I notice a lot of the vendors on some of the new sites (don't know can we say names) but SM some of the buyers have feedback on small items, say half grams, grams of speed/pills etc but they're offering massive bulk listings aswell. What's to say if someone clicks buy on kg amounts they're going to send? Could be LE just looking to resell stuff they've busted from these large eu amphetamine factories and reselling to catch other wholesalers (...call me paranoid) or they could just be planning selling a few grams then scamming oz orders. Seen it happen plenty elsewhere that's what does happen. Surely not many people will actually want to sell kg amounts by post that are legit.

All these things are best kept small scale and from vendors you've heard of before or have a good bit of feedback.

£128 a bitcoin it cost earlier on, getting ridiculous. Between the 2 main big sites there are more drug listings than there were on Silkroad now ha!

War or drugs wins again.
 
Selective scamming is a standard risk you have to be careful of when buying drugs on the internet, just keep orders low.

Also, if you're buying BTC with any papertrail to you make sure you launder your coins first since many of the new markets don't have the mixer and volume that the SR had, making it easier to analyse where the bitcoins are going and have come from.

This can be as simple as switching into altcoins, moving to another exchange and turning back to BTC, or using a dedicated service like bitcoinfog who charge 1-3% (randomised to help prevent forensic analysis). fogcore5n3ov3tui

Oh, and don't rely on wiki's for links to tor hidden services, either write them down once you know the proper address or put them in a pastebin note and only note down the last part of the pastebin URL for plausible deniability.

Lots of phishing clones of the real markets, they'll forward you to the real address once you login but as soon as you deposit BTC they'll empty your account with an automated bot faster than you can click 'logout'.
 
226$ on bitstamp. I wouldnt even pick up a barge pole at this point, let alone touch them with one.

Increase of 20$ in a few days. If you're brave you could speculate that they are gona keep rising and rising.

EDIT: Theyve gone up another 50 cents since i typed this post 10 minutes ago. So if you're gonna draw a chart they seem to be increasing by a dollar every hour or 2. Fuckin incredible. Of course if i was to buy some the price would immediately plummet.

Maybe in anticipation to the unveiling and opening of Silk Road by the old former Mods and Admins tomorrow, the FBI keep a tight ship.

Either everyones buying them in hope of an investment, in which case before long theyll crash heavily.

Or the bust of silk road has given them so much publicity the demand is rising
 
239$ now. This is fucking ridiculous. wtf is going on. A 5$ increase in 1 hour.

If i was in a position to gamble, i could have used all thats left of my bank balance and ovedraft, bought some coins last week, and made a few hundred quid out of thin air. I wonder if that opportunity is still there, it fuckin looks like it, i havent got the stomach for it atm though. The stakes are too high to risk everything though the windfall would certainly help keep my house warm over the winter.

One of my colleagues did a simillar thing with share dealing. He spent all his wages and overdraft and made £1500 profit on one deal. He lost it all on his next deal though. :|

Yeah, you could have used all your money to chuck on red or black too which would have offered the potential for a greater profit margin.

Sticking cash into bitcoins isn't investing, it's pure gambling. Gamblers always lose in the long run. Bitcoins might have legs for a bit longer but the current trading price is based purely upon speculation and there is frankly no measurable data you can use to base an investment decision on. Even looking at trading price is a total mishmash of huge ups and downs.

AVOID.

I have a fairly large portfolio and looked at bitcoins when they were at £20 a pop. I didn't go for it. Do I wish I had gone for it? Sure, I'd have made thousands. Do I regret it? No. My decisions on where to shove my money are based on reasoning and logic. Gambling opens you up to wipeout and I'd rather just keep my money in less volatile markets.

If you want to make a steady profit get your money in investment groups who have portfolios in Indian/Phillipino/Malaysian tech sector.

aye, wise words. Through sheer luck and my own incompetence i turned a £250 bit coin buy into £3750. This is probably skewing my judgement. Theres no way theres gonna be that kind of more than a ten fold increase in value again. So yeah you're right, if i was gonna gamble, which im not, id probably be better of going to the casino in town and placing all my money on red or black. Double my money or loose it all. Fuckin hell. :\

At the moment i have been out of work for some time and am in no position to be looking into long term investements. My immediate access savings account has all been used. I have other savings locked up in 5 year bonds and stuff, and the penalties for withdrawing cash from them before the policies mature are fuckin horrific. When i took these things out i had no idea i would be in this situation on November the 5th in 2013.
