Men hitting women?

Ok so I saw a vid on FB this morning, a group of people being refused entry into some food place, big guy stands in the doorway, some stupid bitch then lashes out kicks him in the 'sack' he pushes her away and a few seconds later she punches him in the face. He retaliates by punching her back and she falls through some shitty shop window.
Thing that gets me is INSTANTLY everyone's hating on the guy!
Ok, this is my point of view, I wouldn't punch a woman out the blue, but if she punched me like that out the blue she's get one back I can assure you. I see it as equal rights. If someone attacks me I ain't going to discriminate.
A lot of the time iv had a girl start on me it's been when they're pissed up trying to act hard for whatever reason and it's a slap so I just push em back and walk off.
I hate this 'hero' attitude that most guys have, where if they see something like that they will start on the guy without knowing any of the circumstances..... Obviously of there's some guy absolutely beating the shit out of someone m/f I would step in.
What's everyone else's views/opinions? Interested to hear from guys and girls on this
 
Women are generally less physically powerful than men (there are of course exceptions) so an allowance has to be made for that. Their kicks and punches tend not to wreak so much damage. But yeah if a woman was causing me serious pain / possible physical damage I wouldn't let her off with it just because she's female. But also I think it's best not to use force beyond what's needed to stop someone. I mean once they're stopped I don't think it helps to then beat the shit out of them, to teach them a lesson, male or female; but easier said than done when you've been provoked into a rage.
 
Why would you need to hit a woman? Surely a lifetime of sexual inequality and unrealistic portrayal of beauty by the mass media makes it easy to crush her spirit by playing on their insecurities. Or find another woman wearing the same outfit that looks better than her.

Do what you have to do to defend yourself from a woman but don't punch her back in the face. Regardless of how you think it should be you are going to look like an ass if you punch her back!
 
Mixed responses already, regarding looking an ass if you punched her back, this is what I'm on about, inequality. 'Its morally wrong to hit a woman' but why?

My ex on occasions took a broken bottle to me & also kicked me in the balls & came at me with a knife, had to get dark on her sadly.
I didn't beat the shit out of her but she had to learn disrespect like that isn't called for & won't be taken.
 
At one point i thgought violence agaist women was completely unnacapteable. But there was once a girl who would hit me, i wanrned her if you hit me again i will, hit you back., she hit me aagain, i gave her an i mean it final warning, she hit me again, I thumped her so hard in the leg she never fuckin hit me again.

Obviously the steroetypical wifebeater bastard who has a few pints of wifebeater before terrorirising his woman cos hes had a bad day is deplorable. But if women want to play rough, they deserve it back (with limited and mininimal controlled force)

A few months ago I was having a pick-nic in a park, the was an argument among the Peruvians sat next to us, this guy jumps up and starts punching the girl in the face as heavy as he could, none of us intervened, most of us cheered on him. Tells you a lot how times are changing.

Back when women were actual women and behaved in a lady like manner, men would have risked their lives and safety to defend them, but now that women consider behaving as a woman should a sign of being oppressed by the patriarchy and act out like the worst lads...they get what they deserve.

I fully aggree with using th exact same level of phisycal violence on a woman as you'd do on a man, no holding back
 
Nah even if a woman hits a man there's stuff he can do that's less violent to retaliate (pushing/restraining) cos whether equality exists or not the vast majority of times he'll be a lot stronger. Unless you're in Leeds.

This scenario however I wouldn't blame the guy in the slightest for clocking some heads as his missus is the target.

how about when you are driving a car. What are you supposed to do boot her out in the middle of nowhere, allow her to keep on hitting you whilst driving, tie her up and put her in the boot, the only short sharp effective pragmatic and practical measure in that scenario was to give the bitch a dead leg from hell. I dont normally carry a full set of bondage restraining gear around with me.

BTW ive never hit a woman apart from that one occasion, well other than that i used to push my little sister around a bit when i was about 11.
