Sensitivity to LSD

So I've only done LSD a handful of times (5 to be exact), and so far every time I've tripped my friends say that they wish they tripped like me because they never seem to peak as hard as I do. It seems that way too, and sometimes I feel bad because I feel disconnected from them during the trip.

So is it possible for someone to be more sensitive to it than another person? We always take from the same sheet, so I feel like different doses are unlikely, but I don't know enough to say that for a fact obviously, or I wouldnt be here asking you guys. I figure that maybe something about my brain might change the potency for me, but idk if it has to do with brain chemistry, or because of my personality. I'm much more sensitive than others, and I'm also very creative and enjoy simpler things like friendships. Also, it may be because I trip for purer reasons than my friends do, some of which only trip to escape stress rather than enjoy the experience.

Any idea?

I'm a believer that us sensitive types tend to feel the peaks and troughs more extremely than others. Not just in drugs but in life in general.

Yes every drug effects every person differently. It is quite common for one person to need 2x or 3x as much of a drug like LSD to feel the same effects as another person. LSD is quite the complex drug with how it works on effecting our neurotransmitters, so I think the difference in effect from person to person is greater than with some drugs with a more simple mechanism of action.

Yes this is absolutely possible. My brother gets great trips from gram doses of potent cubes. I also have a friend who will take one average but legit MDMA pill (I test all my pills) and roll for like 8 hours and not sleep all night, even if it was taken in the afternoon while the longest I roll is 4 hours but I seem to be hit harder and faster than others. People have different neurochemistry, that's just how it works. Instead of looking at this as a bad thing realize that drugs are cheaper for you and you get more bang for your buck. If you don't like how your "ahead" of your friends then simply take a smaller dose... not everyone is going to take the same dose and be on the same level.

It's more because you are more creative etc... I think you are more 'at peace' with your life than the others you trip with? Ever since I found my inner clarity, my last two trips have been the happiest days of my life.

Also, don't feel bad, it's great to not have a tolerance to LSD.
