Redosing at 1.5 hours

What is the reasoning behind redosing at 1.5 hours? I know that its the most efficient way to extend the roll and redosing after ~2 hours causes more neurotoxicity but I don't know the reason or science behind it. Could someone explain to me please?

Also any suggestions on how to avoid being floored after re dosing? My tolerance has been stupid low and sometimes one pill, taken in halves, an hour apart, will floor the shit out of me as I have less than 2 years of experience with MDMA. 8o I may have built a slight tolerance by now, hopefully, but any suggestions on how to take a pressed pill, decipher approx. how many milligrams works for me would be much appreciated.
 
As far as I know, there is no science to recommend redosing at 1.5 hours. In theory, redosing at 1 hour is less risky than 1.5 is less risky than 2.
 
Agree with that, why u want to build a tolerance?
Don't make sense. Get lower and lower until you find your dosage.
 
Since when is there a 1.5 hours rule? I have always found that PRN / as needed dosing was the best, but then again I know my body, and I guess some people might not be as in touch with theirs, but I also am extremely careful about what I put into my body, I always have had to know everything or as much as I could about a drug before I took it, and I always preferred crystal MDMA rocks instead of pills because pressed pills post 2008-2009 IMO went to shit. I don't know, just my $0.02, ecstasy was the compound I probably overdid out of them all. I don't think I have any serotonin and I haven't so much as thought of taking MDMA in a long long time. I just don't ever think of it even as an option despite it being extremely readily available. Not my cup of tea anymore, you lose the magic and then end up chasing that first high like they always said you would, and if you were a dumb mother fucker like me, and took tens of thousands of hits over their MDMA-using period of their life, you probably can relate to what I'm saying... But I don't know, I just wanted to mention the part about 1.5 hours and where the hell that figure came from, no one's body chemistry is universal so there's no magic number that can be applied to everyone.
 
The idea is to extend and enhance your peak. 1-1.5 hours is known to be the best for this. After 2 hours or so your next dose will not be near as good.

Stupid. You won't ever feel as good doing that as if you were to just properly dose for the first drop. And the side effects will be worse later on.

Also, I don't know what this "1.5" is. 1.5g? Try to list the actual dosage.

Pills is not an amount of mg, which is what you need to know. I've seen pills range from 80mg to 220mg.

But if you normally take lets say 1 pill for a starting dose, the general rule of thumb is to dose half of what you originally dosed 1-1.5 hours after taking the first pill. This will extend and enhance your peak while keep side effects and comedown to a minimum.
 
Best analogy I can give is, you get an orange and squeeze the fuck out of it, makes all the good juices come out. Some believe in redosing because it prolongs the effects. I see it as using a half squashed orange and then disintegrating due to how much your trying to squeeze the hell out of it.

I personally don't do it... I've tried it twice and fucking hated it. Felt so seedy even after using all other proper HR techniques. This is just different to absolutely everything else and must be treated with respect accordingly.
 
I just redose whenever I feel like it (usually 2-3 hours) with half the original dose. Works wonders for me - prolonging the good stuff and the comedown is just the same.

There's nothing scientific to suggest that dosing past 2 hours of the initial would cause more damage than dosing after 1 hour 30. It's important to make sure that redoses are not normal doses. You shouldn't be dropping the same amount as you initially took. From my experiences, low redoses do not seem to cause anything negative and do prolong the overall experience.

It depends what mg content is in your pills. If they're strong pills (since you're from Holland), then half then a quarter could be perfect. If not, then half a pill will be underwhelming.
 
Ok thanks. I have 5 pills to cover a long weekend between two people, they are very strong so I think what I will do then is half thursday, half friday and then on saturday 3/4, 1/2 then 1/4 in a night. Thanks for the advice everyone.
 
the goal is to time it to extend the peak...not go down and up again, as doing the latter can lead to large concentrations of mdma in the absence of much vesicular 5ht to be released.
