I normally use between 200mg and 225 of diphenhydramine to go to sleep at night. I've been using it for a long time, so my tolerance to it is sky high. Earlier today, at about 2 o'clock, I took 30 mg of methadone, and around 9pm I took 30mg of morphine IR. Obviously the morphine is mostly out of my system, even though it's not entirely, but I know that the methadone is not, since its half-life is about 36 hrs.
30mg of methadone is nowhere near my tolerance to opiates, and even with the 30mg of morphine, still isn't close to my tolerance. I don't feel any effects from the methadone currently, nor did I during its peak.
To me it seems like it would be okay to take my normal sleeping dose of diphenhydramine to go to sleep now that I'm home from work, but I wanted to know if anyone had ever experienced anything severely negative after doing so.
