HELP!?!? Good ways to make money.

At the moment my family is on melt down and for the 5 months I've been very depressed. To help save my family and myself (Hopefully) I need cash and quick. Unfortunately I'm unemployed so I'm looking for other ways and at the mo' I can't think of much, other than sell stuff on eBay.

However I've never sold anything on eBay and was wondering if anyone knows any good websites like a 'Selling Stuff on eBay for Dummies', that explains in laymen's how to set up a sale and include pic's, the ability to pick from multiple items in a drop down menu in the one sale. Things like that. Does anyone know a site?


Also does anyone know any good ways of making cash quickly? I'm in the UK by the way.

I've heard of people extracting precious metals from spare/old computer and other electronic component's. Is this easy to do and worth it?

In my area the local Council collect cans to recycle from people's homes when collecting the rubbish. I was thinking about keeping the cans and recycling them myself and getting the money. Are food cans just aluminium or do they contain any other metals? Would this be worth it?

Does anyone have any of other ideas? Thank you.
 
There's a lot of other videos on ebay on youtube you might check out. I'll let you know if I think of anything else.

i honestly think that throwing out a question like this here is of very limited value.

if there were foolproof, quick and easy ways to make money, don't you think that everybody would be doing them? well, then they'd probably get spun out and no longer be money-makers so people who have this kind of information are not going to just give it to you publicly on the web, are they?

you need to do some leg-work yourself: mine your network; identify skills you have which might be valuable to others and find a way to connect with those others; etc.

sorry to hear about your situation, Gaz, tbh eBay can be really hit n miss if you're just trying to liquidate random goods you have. Extracting precious metals from electronics is not worthwhile unless you have the capital to be competitive and bid on bulk loads of junked stuff to fry. A good way to earn some income is going door to door offering services like lawn clipping and window washing, or paying the municipal gov't for a vending license and setting up a coffee stall in some high-traffic area. Coffee always sells, and the startup capital for that should be relatively affordable.
 
You can get a job tomorrow doing freelance commission only door canvassing if you have the balls and determination, I done it and I was shit hot at it, I'm considering doing it again, there are loads of companies offering free boilers to certain households through green deal scheme and other schemes , even council houses, council estates are the best to hit because when they hear "free" they jump at it, and you get a commission for every yes , you will easily get a job, do a little homework on renewable energy , more effeciant boilers, and solar panels, search door canvassers into google and you WILL get a job, because there's no payroll, u earn what u sell, my 2 cents ;)
 
sorry to hear about this, mate. there are no substantial quick fixes here. it might be better to focus on getting steady employment. it may not be an immediate winfall, but a reliable ongoing income is worth more to debtors anyway.

do some bar work if you have to. wait tables. anything.

as for ebay, just click the "sell" button. it is really simple and self explanatory. do you have a paypal account? it is necessary if you want to sell overseas. remember, selling stuff is a last resort for dire financial straits. once stuff is gone, it's gone.
 
Most ppl who need $ either turn to crime or get a job. So you've got two viable options....stop being fucking lazy and do it.

Is your country filled with illegal immigrants doing jobs for no benefits and half the wage? No, so stfu
