well the democrats give it a go, Clinton did great stuff for N ireland, and Obama is trying to avoid military action, but the republicans seem to want to go to war against all "rogue nations" at the drop of a hat. Everybody else is allowed to have nukes but the so called "rogues" are not. Nobody else is allowed to go to war without EU sanctions except for the usa and uk. Any other country would be called war crimianals. Its a tired old argument, and noit fitting the mental health thread. Or maybe it is since im still regurgigating this opinion for about the 50th time. Maybe i need to move on, and get over it, somehow.

Also on a different point; there's a difference between trying to be friendly and 'sucking up' to people. I fear my posts often appear to be on the wrong side of that difference, im not trying to be sycophantic, im just offering what i hope is encouragement and acknowledging peoples qualities and strengths whenever there is a chance to do so.

I think he was fully prepared to bomb syria but I also think he must've been relieved when Russia gave them a way out. He's upped the use of drones and forgotten his promise to close guantanamo.

As for rouge states having WMDs... democratic nations do go to war, but very rarely with each other... Thats the difference in their eyes.
