I reckon the shawarma I had last night gave me food poisoning, been having ass squirts and skin shivers. Feeling proper rank. Will have a bottle of lager for medical use, then will head out, want to take a few photos of the Western Wall as yesterday it was shabbat and cell phone/camera use is forbidden in that location on saturdays.

Shekhels is the currency in Israel? Mind blown. Why have I never known this? When I was younger one of the local jakeys who'd jump in for our booze would say, in his mad nasally junkie whine "Ah better be getting heeeeeaaaaaavy shekhels for this!" meaning he wanted some cash for jumping in. I'd always thought it was just his mad patter and shekhels was a word he'd made up lol.

I always wondered where the word came from n like you just thought it was some slang often associated with Street Drinkers " Got any Shekhels mate so i can ge t a can of brew ...."

Any mention of shabbat and the first thing that always pops into my head is this (sorry I've got pretty narrow cultural leanings)

Ive get a new morrissons in Windsor ( the other store is Waitrose ( of couirse) so might investigate that later. Im a fan of The Sun atm.. theyve got the paper out on a sunday since The People went.

also have you tried ecigs ? i was amazed not just how much they felt like a proper cigarette, but they are actually far nicer tasting to smoke. Normal cigs taste disgusting now after being on ecigs for a few months. There is no ash, less stinky smells, no tar, only 1 carcinogen instead of 200. Cheaper than cigs too.

I actually like the smell of Tobacco, be it fresh burning smell of walking into a room from the night before, but then again I like all types of strange stuff like Petrol, fresh tarmac, erm glue but not since I've turned 14.
I HATE the smell of old weed smoke though, walking into my lounge after a smoke the night before makes my stomach flip, nice when it's fresh, not so much when it's old.
