I think Mountains is the best possible location. Much rather be outside talking to each other than hammered in a club. I'm south too but don't mind a 4/5 hour drive for the one time i'll ever see anyone from, BL.

I think a club night would be horrible, I want to actually speak to you hideous cunts not just oggle you.
Ouch I just agreed with raas AGAIN.
But I'm hopeless at socialising so I could load up on pain meds and stims and make a spectacle of myself.
But I see your point, I was just considering the weather and an indoor meet might be easier when some don't show.
It has to be reasonably close to me, for a start I live in the south where we have electric and motorised transport, but more importantly it should be within the range of my Lambretta so I can at least turn up in style:D

Yup. Whilst I'm happy to meet in clubs if I'm going to be there anyway, it's not the best bet for a bigger organised meet.

tbh honest i can think of no better place than windsor. Its a compact little town.. loads of good clubs, pubs, 10th century castles. Also theres plenty of bed and breakfasts.. If not this time then some time. You'd like it and castles are as cool as mountains when youre tripping.

nah Luton town would a more appropriate ambiance for our motley crew, I think the winter may not be the best option.

As far as a BL meetup is concerned it's a bit academic for me, I can't see my managing to find the courage to turn up, I struggle to leave the house for anything but work.

I'd be loath to do anything but a local meetup - nothing against southern BLers, but I had my trust abused and was basically left for dead when I was foolish enough to put too much faith in internet strangers. I won't elaborate because it's not good for the forum, so don't ask.
Having said that, I'm nice. I really am. Much nicer than you'd expect. In fact, you might even go so far as to wonder whether the cunt thing is a bit of a front.

Small meets in a few different places would be easy enough to arrange. Far trickier would be organising one huge meet that a lot of people could get to. (Personally am not too fussed as I like travelling, so would be happy with beach, Windsor, Luton, Amsterdam, whatever.)

Nah, these were northern BLers. What I'm saying is I don't want to have to stay somewhere and receive some frosty 'hospitality'. Which I'm sure yours wouldn't be.
You're like me, I reckon - a guest is treated better than family at my gaff. Not like an inconvenience, or someone who should be grateful. It's all in the upbringing, and I don't mean social class. I mean class.

ive got all the time in the world and am feeling more confident about posting stuff on here. Thats not to say everyone might just say 'fuck off mdb' so it may need to be one of the very highest status and most respected EADDers has to do all the organising. I wouldnt like to say who that might be, but it would be from a group of about 6 ppl IMO.
