I have a bottle of kpan .5 mgs. I have been on xanax for almost 10 years, what would the equivalent of 1 mg xanax be to .5 kpan?

Anyway...thanks.:|:?

I guess it's worth it if you're withdrawing... they're very different benzodiazepines in terms of effects. Think of Clonazepam as more of a calm benzo and Xanax as a fuck-you-in-the-face type of benzo.

You've probably taken it already if you were going to, but clonazepam has a very long half life and its anticonvulsant effects are very pronounced. And though not to the extent of diazepam it is also a fairly effective skeletal muscle relaxant.

As a general rule, always start small with tranquilzers/benzodiazepines in general. And a google search would have yielded a dozen equivalency charts in 0.09 seconds.

Sorry, I did use the chart on here after I posted it I found it. Apologies. Anyway, yeah I took two. It's def more mellow than xanax. Not bad, happy I'm not WD'ing. My doctor has me on this to get of the xanax. Isn't this going to be just as addictive (physically) as xanax?

Yes but the good thing is due to its longer half life the WD's will not kick in as fast as xanax WD's do. Took me 3-4 days after stopping clonazepam to experience withdrawals.

Diazepam or chlordiazepoxide would've been a more appropriate course of action on your doctor's part, but clonazepam should work well [for tapering of alprazolam] if used correctly.
