Benzos If i took this amount?

I did benzos only 4-5 times. Sorry for the english.
First time, I took 3.5 mg so I could sleep better.
In 20 minutes I felt dizzy and hurry to sleep. I slept about 5 hours and woke up to have a drink of glass... When I woke up and went to the kitchen I was too much dizzy and I knocked my head in the door. I was hurt and bleeding and went to the hospital with a minor cut in eyebrows.
So be careful, you should take only 0.5 mg and not 5.0mg
 
Why would you start off taking such a huge amount? Even for a person who has taken benzos before, that's way too much.
 
Its quite difficult to have a life threatening overdose on benzos alone. However if you mix with other depressants like opiates, respiratory arrest is possible at commonly ingested amounts. For a person with no tolerance taking a relatively low to moderate dose usually you'll just blackout
 
ya try between .05 and 5, being .5, that is a standard starting dose for anxiety. typically .25 for sleep, more if necessary in either case but don't go over double those amounts.
 
what can possible happen is you waste all your pills for a mediocre high you don't remember.
 
What could happen?

You could wake up naked in jail cell awaiting trial for murder...

Ha, ha. But really... 5mg of alprazolam WILL make you black out and some people get enraged and violent on high doses. You WILL NOT be able to control yourself and may try and drive or engage in other dangerous activities.

Without any background info regarding.... well, anything, it's hard to say what would happen. As others have said, 5mg is a very large dose for someone who hasn't tried benzos before, and you've already decided to go with 1mg which is a much better idea.

But seriously, threads like this are not dissimilar to me asking: If I run down the street at night, what will happen?

There are only a couple of ways to answer:

1. Anything.

2. It depends on (and here is where we need your background info)...

I'm not singling out the OP, but there seems to be an over abundance of these kinds of questions. I encourage people to do their own research and make their own decisions in cases where only they are the ones who could speculate most accurately, and where they must take responsibility for their own actions.

It doesn't matter what people on BL say - nobody knows what will happen.

That's true and the reason why we don't allow speculative threads like this. I'm going to close this now, as you're right, anything can happen, and there is no point in speculating.

That is way way too high of a dose plain and simple.. OP could have easily figured that out with a simple google search. Coming here and asking what "could" happen and purely speculating about taking a stupidly high dose of benzos for a non tolerant individual is pointless and not HR.
