Benzos can you enjoy valium with out falling a sleep ?

I have taken valium many times before but only after heavy night out on drugs ( uppers ) 10-20 mg just switches off my brain pretty much instantly. I get that nice relaxed feeling for a little and then its blank. I never tried taking it sober so i was just wondering what will it do ? will i just crash and fall a sleep for the rest of the day/night ?

10-20 mg is considered a small dose, 20 might make you too tired(it does for me), 10 will probably be a good starting point. But thats all benzos are really good for on their own, making you tired and going to sleep, unless combined with other drugs (safely of course!). I have barely ever taken them without some weed or opiates, and I have no desire to take more than 20 mg valium or 2 mg kpin/xanax, well except back when I was in school and wanted time to seem like it flew by or to be able to sleep on a school desk.

I will say I always considered myself I light weight with benzos. Some people would pop 50-60 valium even without much of a tolerance, but for me I don't care for anything over 20, I did 20 mg once and fell asleep for 3 hours after maybe 30 minutes of it kicking in. I also haven't taken valium much compared to xan or kpin.
 
Usually some weed and few pills of solpadol ( 500mg paracetamol 30mg codeine) help me relax and zone out to some interesting film or documentary but it only last for 1 hour or 2 =[ I was just wondering if i can get in to same state of mind by taking some Valium instead ? or maybe even adding it to a combo

Has any one mixed this before ?

If you're looking to "relax and zone out", weed and valium is right on the money, hah.
 
Of course you can enjoy benzos without falling asleep, all you need to do is reduce the dosage.
 
ive never understood how people 'enjoy' benzos in a recreational sense..sure, they calm you down but thats it...no real mood lift that i have experienced that would qualify it as being enjoyable..
 
You get used to the high and avoid lying down or anything.

Also benzos can be enjoyable for people who have anxiety disorders or are generally more anxious and being relaxed is enjoyable.
 
Mindtricks or whoever may know. I have insomnia even with Fent patch, Oxys an xan, xans help but I do have to be carefull as I'd like to keep breathing. What Is sopadol?

Without a tolerance it feels/felt like alcohol to me.

I enjoy mine with weed.
 
Both benzos and alcohol act as GABA positive allosteric modulators. Similar to GABA alpha beta rho agonists
 
its not your dosage but your time of administration. i use it when i wake up to feel good and normal all day. i find myself to get alot accomplished on it during the day, but night is ZZzzZzz . i also agree more than 20 is a waste and feeld overdone. keep it low for tolerance and dependencys sake. hope this helps
 
I just yesterday finished a home alcohol detox (again) using Valium and a lil weed. I was going to try and go cold turkey again from booze, but by may hour 12-15 I was a shaking, sweating, heat pounding mess. So I acquired several 5mg Valium. I took 10mg immediately, sorta took the edge off, I then staggered another 20mg throughout day 1, did the same on day 2, was feeling ok, day 3 20mg staggered, day 4 I dropped to 15mg staggered, yesterday, day 5, I took 2 5mg staggered. I'm done now. Feel just fine. I hope I never again try an alcohol detox without a benzo of some sort. It so much easier and safer to do it this way.

Note: Its actually better to do an actual inpatient detox, but it just wasnt possible this time.

Sounds a lot like Supeudol, the Sandoz made OXY IR that goes up to 20mg that's available in Canada, basically there's Supeudol, OXY IR and just generic oxycodone pills but they are all based on the supeudol. Had I never lost access to the 20mg footballs I would have never picked the needle and all that shit.

I thought people in the uk used co-codamol when they meant OTC codeine.
