Zzzquil (diphenhydramine) for speed comedown?

Hey everyone just a quick question. So there's this product called Zzzquil and I think it's fairly new on the market. It's made by the same company that makes Nyquil and Dayquil. Apparently this Zzzquil stuff is a sleep aid and that's about it from what I know, it doesn't have the other stuff in it like Nyquil does as far as I know... I really have no idea tbh, but Nyquil has always knocked me out in the past when I had bad colds or was just sick in general.

My question is, does anyone have any experience using Zzzquil for a speed comedown, or any kind of comedown in general? I'm coming down off about 90mg Adderall IR that I took last night around midnight, and I smoked meth earlier that day so I've been a bit sped out. I'm crashing, and have been but it's nothing horrible but I'm highly considering on going out and getting a bottle of this stuff to help me sleep soon. So, anyone have any experience with this stuff?

FYI: I have plenty of Xanax on standby which is what I usually use at the end of the comedown right before sleep. I have a feeling combining Zzzquil and a benzo would probably be a bad idea, just feels like it. So if this Zzzquil stuff isn't recommended, I'll go back to plan A... Xanax.

I've used it before....along with nyquil....benydryll. You'd have to drink a lot of it. I'd stick to the xanax.

Most OTC sleep aids are useless, at least for me, some people it helps but generally not when speed or stimulants are mixed into the equation.
Diphen sometimes helps me feel a little drowsy but if I'm coming down off of coke it won't do much but stop my mind from racing so much
I'd take the xanax.

Thanks for the responses. So it seems Xanax is the way to go, I kind of figured that but just had to make sure.

Also, does anyone here know if combining the two is dangerous in any way? I've combined a lot of stupid things together in the past and I don't want to make that mistake again hah

Well I can't tell you for sure so I wouldn't take them together.
I couldn't see the harm if you didn't go nuts with either because zzzquil is only diphenhydramine which people use to potentiate opiates, I'd imagine it potentiate benzos in a similar fashion.

Hmm interesting. I was planning on taking about 4mg Xanax later and possibly a small shot of that Zzzquil but yeah, I don't want to risk it. I'll probably try the combo another time using much less Xanax (and not coming off speed)

A small shot won't hurt, but be careful. Diphenhydramine is a deleriant and I can remember trying to use it in tablet form to come down a few times. It wasn't working so I kept taking more. I ended up being really uncomfortable, delirious, hallucinating, etc... I didn't sleep either.

^true. I don't consider dph a relaxing drug, let alone a sedative; it makes me uncomfortable and slightly on edge.(I used to use it a lot, sometimes in massive doses). Benzo's are the way to go for a speed comedown, you need something to smooth down the edges and sooth you; dph probably won't do that.
