Opioids methadone to oxycodone

if your on 110 mg of methadone daily and havnt taken a drink in 2 days, how many mgs of oxy would it take to get high? i have 10 40s n n wanna feel a nice buzz
 
How much oxy do you think it will take? What i mean is how much would you do before? 110mgs of methadone is actually what i was on for about 3 years, im now down to 90, been tapering bc i want to get the fuck out of that shit hole. Also, i havent had any opi pills since i traded a bottle of 110mgs for 2 opana 40mg pills (btw cant believe what those things fetch in price, an rx could make you a small fortune if you sold them all...) So i dont know if anyone makes an oxy you can crush and sniff anymore. If you were going to crush and snort id guess like 200mgs would be an ok place to start. I mean for you to be able to be held on 110mgs you have got to have a very high tolerance. I know i could handle 400mgs no prob but it wouldnt be advisable to just do all ten. Id prob parachute if i couldnt bump them. Would have been a time where id shoot them, but with the new formulations you would be looking at a spoon full of goo. Even with tolerance remember, you can always do more if you want...its not as easy to take less.
 
Being on that much methadone, especially every day, stacking doses, there's still a lot in your system even after 2 days, which isn't very long considering methadones half-life. It's still going to be pretty pointless to use anything in my opinion. The methadone is going to block a lot.

im starting to notice what a two faced deal methadone is, at first i loved not thinking about drugs anymore but id love to be able to get high again at least like once a month
 
Yea, thats the bummer about being on more than 30mgs or so a day...blockade will stop just about everything except for fent which is the last thing you want to try and get high on. 2 years ago i went away for a weekend and the ghey ass clinic wouldnt give me an extra takehome so i bought a bunch of oxy (the good ones) and it was like doing nothing. 200mgs and it was a total waste. But if you have ten i think you might get a little something, but its not going to be like getting nodface.

although i do consider myself lucky (smart?) that i never tried needles cuz it could be a lot bigger of a bitch
 
i just wish i could go back to normal b4 i started doing pain killers every day but then instead of doing them every day just do them on the weekend or once a month or sumthing

There really is no just using "once a month or on weekends". Not for any real long period of time at least. Opiates are incredibly addicting for a reason. If it were as simple as having the control to only use occasionally, there wouldn't be millions of addicts all over the world.

Like Mr.Scagnattie said, that's not a real good mindset to have. Opiate addiction last a really long time - you must understand that it isn't just physical addiction, as that can be overcome, it is also mental addiction. You want to feel this high because you're really addicted.

Good luck, I hope you get well soon. Just try to focus on things other then getting high and stick to your methadone program. It's hard, but you can overcome this.
 
It has been my personal experience that Methadone DOES NOT BLOCK THE EFFECTS OF OTHER OPIATES....It's not like Bupe...I was scripted Methadone for my "long acting" and oxy IR for breakthrough for many months...and I could tell a huge difference without the oxy...however...the methadone did completely put the brakes on oxy withdrawal... :)

When I was on 95 mg of methadone I found that the only thing that really gave me a high was to drink extra methadone...ie take my reg dose then take one of my takehomes an hour or two later. Or occasionally I would sip on the second dose throughout the day

When I was on about70-75 I could get the rush from shooting dope, but the high was very very shortlived

To directly answer your question, you'll probably need more than you think. I'm not sure anyone can give you an exact response, but what someone above guessed around 200 mg probably isn't far off. Methadone s issue is that constant build up --and of course, super long half life. When I detoxed from it , it was day 3 til I really even hit withdrawal, so 2 days isn't long off of it...

i am pretty sure no amount of oxy will get you high. As i was on 120mg methadone someone offered me some oxy 80 for the first time. I waited 48 hours untill my last dose, i was sweaty and my nose was running as i railed the first oxy i felt slightly relieved but unpleasantly stimulated. As i took more the side effects increased, but it felt as the oxy coudn't cut through and antagonize the rezeptors as much as methadone. After some cleantime (1 year+) a low dose oxy got me pleasently high, i could even feel 5mg oxy ir railed!

So you tapered from 120mg's of meth to nothing and got a year clean?
 
Wow, if thats true id love to know if you had an ironclad resolve or what...im struggling with each 2mg per week drop and ive only made it from 110 to 90
