Opioids Opiate Withdrawal Setback

Hi all, I am a long time reader of bluelight and have come here quite frequently to search the message boards to find answers to questions I have. I recently registered as still some questions are unanswered and I feel as if I can contribute some insight onto things as well.

The question I have is this, if I quite smack for 3 days and on a short suboxone taper (was only going to use suboxone for 3 days and only .5 mg as that was all was needed to make me feel okay.) On the third day, while on suboxone, I used a 30 bag of smack. As I am intent on quitting, I really regretted this. My question is this; how much will this one dose set me back? Will I be set back only a day or so, or will I have to go through WD's all over and them be just as intense? Anyone's insight is greatly welcomed.

If you are already stabilized on the suboxone and only used one time, you should be able to just keep taking the suboxone without a problem. If you continue to use though multiple days in a row, you will have to start all over.
 
If you're in the tail end of acute withdrawal and you use an opiate, the withdrawal time clock is reset. It might be a milder withdrawal, but it'll still be 3-5 days of shitty ness. Next time don't use dope in your detox.
