Television Breaking Bad

Thanks. I have such a hard time separating fiction from reality, I needed you to remind me..

I have the same problem.

I actually send letters to AMC c/o Jesse Pinkman asking why all that money isn't making him happy?! I have to work every day and it's just not fair! Brock doesn't even die! WTF?!

Get mad at the writers, not the fictional character 8)

Okey Dokey will do.

To my recollection the writers had the intention of killing Jesse in the same season that Jane died. I think it was three, but possibly two. Anyway, in response to fan loving of Jesse's character he was reworked into the succeeding plot with a sometimes successful narrative. I think the resulting conversations with which to do with him been in response to his awkward transformation into something of a ceaselessly aimless almost-protagonist who now serves as the primary direction of empathy in a show that is cool but could still have been cool without it.

Post-moralizing is the postmodern of moralizing.

Not to be a dick, but as you mention you guessed the wrong person and there were only two to guess from. Also from the wording in your post it made it sound like Walt was going to be the one who told Jesse about either Brock or Jane, not that Jesse would figure it out on his own. It was solid hypothesizing, but you still missed the mark.

You were clearly on the right track though, so maybe you'll be able to correctly guess the ending.

I should have put a winky face on the end of that post, in retrospect.

That said, I was more than simply on the right track. And I say that without an implied winky face.

I don't like that the title to next weeks episode is "Rabid Dog." Because you know what happens to rabid dogs, and Jesse is my favorite character. Hopefully somebody else is the rabid dog, like Hank or Marie or something, and the title of the episode is another red herring.

Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Dolphins and Canes football coming back, GTA V in less than 3 weeks, my mind is on entertainment overload. I simply cannot cope anymore. I have a killer headache and don't even understand why I am on the computer right now.

Money isn't real. It's a bullshit concept to keep the playing field leveled. There's the 1% and there's us, the 99%. 1% of the world's population profit from the blood, sweat and tears of the 99% Still, do you honestly believe that everyone who is in the 1% is absolutely happy? Ridiculously rich people kill themselves all the time. All the money in the world can't change what's going on inside your head. It can buy plenty of drugs that can mask those thoughts, but you have to come down sometime. And when you do, those thoughts will be there, waiting with a knife in each hand.

Jesse has been through a lot of shit since Walter White entered his life. He had to cut up and dissolve a dead body, was kicked out of his home and disowned by his own family, his girlfriend died right next to him in his bed, he was severely beaten several times, he's had his life threatened more than once, his other girlfriend's son was poisoned and he thought for the longest that it was his fault, he knows that his friend Mike was killed by Walter. The final straw was watching that young boy murdered by Todd and seeing the boy's body disposed of. All of this has happened in a space of less than two years. The guilt and anger I would be feeling if I were in his shoes would be overwhelming. I imagine that I would have killed myself. So no. I can't see Jesse giving two fucks about money.

Spot on. more people need to realize this

^Jesus Christ, it was a fucking joke...Able to comprehend things in context much? Still, the fact that we're on the internet bitching about fictional characters shows that none of us have it that bad...

I hope either mari or skylar of both of them get wacked. Tha would make my day

Hate women much?

*scans through thread

Yep. You're the one who got into a "debate" with me on how much you hate Skyler and want her to die. You sure have a hard on for the deaths of female characters. I think Walter could run over Holly with his car and you'd still say something silly like, "That bitch Skyler should have been watching her baby. I hope Walt kills her next!" Seriously, it really does seem like you have some deep-rooted issues with women in general.

Lol. Yes i absolutly hate skylar and marie, because they are control freaks and in the case of marie fucking annyoing. I hate control freaks in general. But women are worse then men when they get into that ''controllative mode''. And no , i dont have a hard on for the death of female characters. I dont want lidia to die, and i was disapointed when they killed of Jane. Like i said many times, Skylar and Marie are just the worst in women personified in an role. They are only missing being feminists to put the cherry on the cake lol

I really hope you're not talking to me, because if so you really need to "scans thread" again. I don't mention Skyler even once in this thread.

Well in that case, I'm sorry...It's a fucking TV show for Christ's sake...Can't we find another thread to get all serious in?

Yea jane sucked, total manipulator, i cant say i dont blame walt for doing what he did, she threatened to spill the beans. She was a drug addict with daddy issues, she was looking out for herself. She would have corrupted jesse even more and when all the money and drugs were gone, so would she. Or shed try to get jesse to get deeper into the game, cook more ect.

Did anyone notice that in the last episode at the very start when Todd is telling the train robbery story in the diner the waitress is standing behind the counter right next to them, and she has a funny look about her when she comes back to refill the coffee and give the check. She looked like she was in earshot. Im wondering if she somehow is going to play another bad turn. Uncle Jack and the blood on his boot. We see him flush the napkin but we dont see it actually go down the toilet. Thats DNA, possibly left on the floor in the bathroom or wherever he was walking. Like someone else said, there seemed to be some foreshadowing in that scene. Cannot wait till Sunday. Now Im gonna finish watching the last episode again.
