I dont actually dispute that at all, thing is we were not in europe for most of the late 70's and 80's whilst Liverpool were

Most of the casual scene came about from Liverpool and their fans in europe during that period with their lois jeans and farah slacks and sergio tacchini

Exactly. You tell me if you were playing in Europe can you honestly say you would not have caused any trouble ? It was an epidemic amongst ALL English clubs in the 70's and 80's.

Saucers were the storngest trips I had in about 1993/4 my guess. They were tiny too, I used to quarter them & once you got the scissors in position they cast a shadow which meant you could no longer see if you were cutting them straight, someone esle had to look & go, "to me, to me, back a bit, to me" until you got it right & snip! Lmao Obviously this was performed PRIOR to any ingestion. I was ascared of them saucers, I never had a whole one :( I got wasted on a quarter! =D
 
Quarter trips. Never had them myself but I suppose it points to the superior strength of 90s acid that quarter trips were quite popular. One of my mates actually took an eighth of a trip once :D He got a slagging. That eighth has got progressively smaller over the years, I think we're winding him up about taking 1/32 of a trip now.

Hahaha poor guy. How the fuck he cut up 1/8 of a trip!?! A half was normally enough & sometimes I'd go the whole hog if I knew the dose or had experience with the batch. I never did many, in all honesty, I tried to work it out one time, out of curiosity, & I calculated I had probably done between 30 & 50 trips between 88 & 96. Only about 4 or 5 were at events. I definitely did more Ecstacy both at clubs & outdoor free parties during this time, though I was very light compared to whatever crew I was with at the time... But acid was much longer, cheaper & just as entertaining as a night out partying properly. On almost all ocassions however, back then, Hardcore rave music, dub reggae & Pink Floyd would have featured at any home acid session.

Christ I swear everything on EADD has turned into arguing recently, admittedly it wasn't long ago but I swear it wasn't this heated when I first joined.

It's weird, when I first started this thread I never thought it would turn into an argument about the Hillsborough disaster.
