What is G.I.? I've heard of G&T or Gin and It (usually from people born in the 1930s), is it an abbreviation of the latter? OK I see Gin and Innocent.

edit: just read that the It in "Gin and It" is Italian Vermouth; I guessed, wrongly, that it was from Indian Tonic.

It was nice (only drank it as it was free when you bought two bottles of vodka :D) - avoided 'rums' after being really ill after drinking Bacardi.
