Not interested in wanky yanky preloading & postloading routines! :p

Just curious as to what supplements people use to aid brain recovery after a heavy (polydrug) session?

My usuals are.....

i have some piracetam and vitramin B with choline (you need the whole combo with a meal for it to work) occasionaly if im feeling zonkied out and if i remember the Piracetam. Sometimes take a multi vitamin with meals if ive been eating particularly badly for a whil (again if i remember)

Piracetam is meant to have neuro protective properties. I think it has been scientifically proven and not just a load of balloney. Your meant to take the every day (they would say that though wouldnt they) but i only tend to take them when i reckon ive been frying my brain too much.

They definately act as energy boosters aswell as whatever they do to the brain, and are effective to the point that i dont take more than 1 pill, because i feel unpleasantly hyper otherwise.

You almost certainly don't need choline, but some people get headaches without it. You don't need the vitamin B, and you definitely don't need a meal with it. :)

"thats what it said on the tin" ie you have to take piracetam with a vitaminB/Choline suplement in order for the piracetam to be properly digested.

Ive never tried it without, as ive bought the Vit B stuff i may as well use it, even if i dont need it, It cant do any harm can it ? Although i have noticed the vitamin B from marmite turns my complexion a bit red, in a healthy looking way. So even if you dont need it you'll have a healthy glow about your complexion....

Ive always thought that having some light snack 20 mins after ingesting a substance helps the substance digest. For example certain opiated dont kick in until you've had a meal, and then they hit you like a brick. :?

I just eat as much proper food, fresh fruit and veg as I can.

tbh Acid4blood your supplemebt looks exactly like the kind of "wanky yanky preloading & postloading routine" you are trying to avoid.

This

I took it for ages. I liked it but I came off it because I don't know how toxic it is for my kidney and I think it made me retain water too much, something I do enough without extra help.

I liked it very much though. Really genuinely felt as though it improved my thinking agility. I took it for about 4 months solid 1-2g a day

Just as much sleep as possible, food and some sunshine. Oh and an apple or banana depending on circumstances, possibly several clementines

ha! =D It does, doesn't it!

Usually only taken post heavy session. The l-tryptophan is definately a big help on days after too much MDMA when the ol' apetite ain't the best!

Acid4blood seriously I would nix all that apart from the Tryptophan

All artificial vitamins are basically bunk mate

Just get some seriously good green superfood powder instead

I use " Pure Synergy" its the best
Expensive though at £2 a day, but if your just caning weekends a whole 354 gram bottle will last you a couple of months at £70 so you should be fine

This. my salads are the tits

and lots of sleep

piracetam sometimes, and always omega 3. used to take a fuck load of different supplements but always felt better from decent diet and lots of sleep

I think most of the research I've read lately suggests almost all supplements are at best useless and at worst setting you up for ill-health.

Agreed, you can get most of what you need from a balanced diet or at the very least just supplement with a good organic superfood powder or barleygrass or spriulina

the pills ánd shit are basically useless

just means your pissing it out though , not actually going into the system
always take it with food to be on the safe side though

Huh, that never clicked with me for some reason. I wish they made normal orange juice that tastes like that
