Honestly, Forte is no guarantee to be around the whole season and I dont think Rivers will have 2 horrible years in a row.

When was the last time Rivers missed a game (not counting his blow ups and bad INTs last season :p)?

Gimmie a break. Forte is low RB1/high RB2 material in a 10 man league and rivers would have barely been drafted if someone didnt take QB as their 1-7 picks in the draft.

You took advantage of a naive homer and you know it.

Not that I have a problem with it, thats how it goes in FF, as long as there is no collusion (which there obviously wasnt) its fine. But damn, Rivers for Forte, look at their ADP, its not even close.

Forte ranked the 13th best player, Rivers is 147th. WOOOOOW

Now, to be fair fote could blow out his knee in week one, and rivers could have a career year, you just never know. But from a preseason fantasy standpoint, this was a god awful trade that would have been vetoed in serious leagues.

never understood the whole FF takes too much time

fantasy football takes me like 3 mins a week

rarely change starting line up, unless injuries/byes

I never veto trades unless consensus is some backroom hand shake was made
it's not my problem, and havn't made a trade in over 8 years

I thought about taking rivers as my last positional player in the draft

nobody drafted him, i'm 1 in waiver wire, if I want him he's mine

it's a bad trade and makes me feel cool to be in a league where this kinda shit never happens

whatever, Vincent brown is going to have a great season, no matter how many ints, fumbles and failed 2 min drills rivers is at fault for

So wait, Phillip Rivers went undrafted in your league, and youre saying trading him for Forte isnt a bad trade?

No, no I did not. He asked and I told him who I wanted and ultimately he had to make it happen. He could have countered with someone else. But you are right, its just fun and a serious league would not have not let one jackass draft 7 QBs.

You can draft whoever you want in Fantasy Football.

What you cant do is trade a late first round/early 2nd round pick for someone who was borderline undrafted in a serious league.

Again, im not calling shenanigans. He propositioned you for the trade, and you took it, which is fair. But if you think it was a fair trade youre as naive as he is.

I never said it was fair but we also know nothing in sports is guaranteed. Its my job as my team owner/manager to create the best team I can and that is what I am doing.
 
I just feel that rivers has a better chance to have a comeback year, with a new coach. I have been keeping tabs through training camp and pre season. I don't care about rankings. That's last year's. Chargers are changing. No more norv. If I was there for the draft would of drafted him.

End of story.

Also Crabtree will make a comeback early December.

and I thought political stands brought out the worst in people

IDGAF about fantasy unless I win it, all I care about is if the rams win or lose
 
^ not really, it makes the waiver wire thinner and trades easier to make. I fail to see how it makes it easier since everyone has the same advantage.
