20mg Klonopin and 2000mg Meprobomate

With a high benzo tolerance, is this something I should worry about? The meprobomate is slightly weaker in mg than Soma, I'd say a 350mg Soma = 200mg Meprobomate. It's the pro-drug of Soma (carisoprodol).

Still a lot of Klonopin. What dosage of benzos do you normally take? "High tolerance" is subjective. How many mg of Klonopin per day do you normally take?

For somebody without a tolerance, that combination of drugs would be dangerous.
 
If you take 8mg Clonazepam then switching to 20mg is a 250% increase, why would you even think that's a feasible option? Don't take that much, you will black out.
 
My goodness, if you don't mind me asking how long have you been taking those daily so i can answer your question a bit better, and how much tolerance (if any) or experience do you have with the meprobomate?
 
20mg is way too much klonopin to be taking. Mixing other depressants with that is just asking for trouble.

20mg of k-pins will have you remembering nothing for the next ~20 hours...
 
Although you have an extremely high benzo tolerance which is dangerous in itself, mixing that high of a dose of klonopin with however you spell that pill is extremely dangerous. I was reading on meprobamate and it said mixing it with any GABA substances (including alcohol) is very dangerous. Not to mention the dosages you listed is like beyond overdose status.

A couple weeks now I've been taking them. I have a very high meprobomate tolerance, ~1600mg per day
 
Hmmm it's complicated because i don't want to tell you it's "safe" even though you have a real high tolerance to both but i would just suggest lower your dosage of both when mixing them by half of what you take, and see the results.

By the way i heard they discontinued meprobomate, but that can't be true if you are taking them...
 
Those are both really high dosages, be careful! Even with high tolerance, I would be extremely cautious as meprobamate is known to increase ion pore opening interval length like the barbiturates and has been shown to act as a direct GABAa agonist. These properties in combo with benzo allosteric modulation could be lethal.
 
Yes, that is DEFINITELY something you should be worried about. Just because you think you can tolerate 20mgs of clonazepam, there is no way you should ever be taking that much meprobomate on top of the clonazepam. Half that dose of meprobomate is enough to make it impossible for you to walk. There's a good chance you'll experience truly horrible ataxia just from the meprobomate.

Such insane dosages of both of those drugs are not necessarily going to be predictable. Honestly, I'd be worrying about possibly dying with those dosages of such strong drugs.
