Brief overview of DXM experiences at different dosages

Before I begin please let me make sure you have checked out the fantastic DXM FAQ by William White.

Ensure Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is the ONLY active ingredient in your medication before attempting a recreational dose.

With that in mind, here's a brief summary of my observed effects.

300mg - Feelings at peace with the earth. Empathy. General good mood. Laugh easily. Feel altered, but not intoxicated. Feel at 'one' with my surroundings. Mildly Intense.
600mg - A marked change in my perception of the environment. Everything feels different. Thoughts are a bit scattered. Generally tripping out. Closed eye visuals present. Moderately intense.
1200mg - Forget a lot at this stage - memory obviously impaired. Open eye hallucinations. Strong disassociation. Scattered thoughts. Altered perception. Hard to walk, hell, hard to stand up straight. Very intense.

Those are the three dose ranges I have experimented with.

Those are the three dose ranges I have experimented with.

I usually do 708mg DXM (2 bottles of Robitussin), and I usually get moderate to strong dissociation at that dosage. (Couch is spinning in circles, feel like im riding a roller coaster, feels like im sitting in the opposite direction that I'm actually sitting). I can't even imagine what I'd experience at 1200mg LOL. I want to do around 1000mg when I turn 18. I'm planning on doing two 4 oz bottles of Robitussin, and 16 15mg DXM Robogels, that would be a little over 1g DXM. Can't wait! (Turning 18 on Nov. 6)
