Dexamphetamine and MDMA

Hey so I have a uni assignment due on Monday and quite a party planned for Saturday night...

So my plan is to have some dexamphetamine(2x5mg pills) on thursday and spend all day at the library, and then on saturday to have MDMA at this party but I'm wondering if the effects of MDMA would be lessened by the dexies?

If anyone had any related experiences/knowledge it would be greatly appreciated

don't mean to sound like a preachy twat but focus on your work man.

I got way to caught up in partying and drugs this year and failed two of my modules (nearly failed the other two as well)

Yeah I plan on prioritising my work anyway, just trying to figure out if I'm gonna be wasting my money on saturdays load to no avail
 
^ Why not? MDMA is an amphetamine just like dex.. they are significantly cross tolerant.

Yes though, you should be perfectly fine. Might not be as intense as it could possibly be but as long as you aren't snorting lines upon lines of amp you should be just great
 
my personal experience with amphetamine before mdma always caused literally flooring rolls.
But that was after binging 1 day on speed and topping it of with some extasy on day 2.

The roll would cause couch lock and to be honest would be inapropriate on a party or anywhere else but home.
Probably the dopamine would get used up and your left with with a roll dominating in serotonine (my own theorie).

I did take dexamfetamine for add and 2x 5 mg is a very small therapeutic ammount.
Spaced a day a part so would probably have no noticeable effects on the e,
especially when you planning to eat and sleep!

Yeah I figured cause they target different neurosensors it shouldn't impact it much/at all, with the low dex dose and day between but thought I'd just see if anyone had a similar experience :)

Thanks for all the responses, if all goes well this could be quite an effective way to get work done and not forfeit socialising nor sleep, anywho I'll let y'all know how it goes if you/future lurkers are at all interested!

My understanding of taking amphetamine/methamphetamine at the SAME time as MDMA is that the result is higher neuro-toxicity as the seretonin transmitters end up in the dopamine receptors and visa versa, which is REALLY bad for your brain, however it feels amazing! I love MD with Meth (or dex) aswell. That could be an urban myth but i've heard it a few times including on Bluelight so it could be credible - not totally sure

However its irrelevant in your case the Dex will have mostly worn off by the time you drop your MD, so i'd say theres no problem. And yes there may be cross-tolerance in general between the two, but as a one off, with only 10mg dex (a tiny amount), the tolerance wouldn't show. If you were on 30-40mg dex a day and had been for a while, and wanted to take MDMA then I would say yes there will be some tolerance and the speedy (dopaminergic) aspect of the MD might not be quite as strong. Remember though that Amphetamines (like Dex and Meth too) are primarily Dopaminergic which is the UP - chatty - wide eyed - can't stop talking etc, whereas MDMA is primarily Seretonergic which is the loved up, everythings beautiful, touch and empathy, etc. They are working differently.

I can easily chew down 150mg of dex in a night if i choose to and throwing in a pill is magic. Dex IMO is underated as a recreational drug - 100mg dex (20 tablets) is pretty similar in effect to a couple of lines of meth. And the nice thing is you know it is clean, pure, and you know for sure that it will do what it is supposed to do, rather than taking a gamble with an ecstasy tablet or a line of meth.

Seconded. 10mg of dexamphetamine is a pretty low dose. Considering the OP is waiting 48 hours after taking such a low dose, it shouldn't make any difference at all.
