Tramadol??

Tonight i popped 5 tromadols (the 50mg's) and its been about 2 hours and i haven't felt much... i've heard it takes a while but how long does it usually take for you guys? I have an opiate tolerance but its been a while since I've used any.

Tramadol is usually taken to help with opiate withdraws i dont think you can get high off of it.

You can get high off of Tramadol. There's just a lot of people who have issues with metabolizing it, you must be one of them. Tramadol is weak in terms of opiates and you should NEVER exceed 400mg in a 24 hour period. You becoming highly prone to seizures if you go above that dosage range.
 
Yeah from what i've heard tramadol is one of the weakest opiates. (I think hydrocodone/vicodin (5/500) are pretty weak but i heard tramadol is even weaker than those. So probably wouldn't even be worth it to me, because to have some decent high and euphoria without any tolerance would atleast have to be 20mg on the hydro's for me, so idk how much with the tramadol.

Hydrocodone is PLENTY more potent than Tramadol. Hydrocodone is actually a highly potent opiate and Tramadol is nowhere near the same level.
 
Lol, i guess i'll never even bother with tramadol because the most common hydrocodone's i've seen were the 5mg ones with a shit ton of tylenol (500mg) and i like to take like 30mg without any tolerance
 
Tramadol would take no longer to kick in than any other oral pain med..approx 30 to 60 mins. But as suggested above some people do not metabolize tramadol and have absolutely no effect from it (I am one of those). If you didn't feel it in 2 hours you probably won't.
 
Yeah, i ended up getting no effect from it. It could be partly due to my opioid tolerance.. I usually use about 40mg of hydrocodone to feel anything. Ohh well, not using those ever again.
 
If its the XR (extended release type), I crush mine before eating it. tastes gross but effects come on way sooner.
 
the only time I got high from tramadol was when I was in prison, with no opiate tolerance. I would take 4-6 to get good, it acted like an anti depressant, made me speedy, and noddy if I laid down, I became very dependent on them. I taken tramadol during my opiate use, with tolerance, and it was of zero benefit to me.
 
Tramadol is not an opiate it just works on the receptors to help a lil bit with the wd. I can see if yer dopesick you can take some an youll feel a bit better but i never got high off of it.

Please don't post unless you know what you're saying. Tramadol IS an opiate, it's just synthetic.

I had similar effects at similar doses when tried with no or low opiate tolerance.
I could see them being habit forming if I had more of them at the time.

I know some people who absolutely love Tramadol, I have no idea why. If you have any experience with opiates, I doubt Tramadol will have any effect. Personally, I can't stand it. I feel like garbage if I take. Like what everyone says, it depends on your body.
 
I love tramadol, and I've been a iv heroin user for years tramadol are one of my favorite opiates and easy to get.

I pity anyone who doesn't get high from them.
