Am I using DXM too much?

I don't know if you were referencing this to my original post or not, but to be honest, that's excatly why I made this thread. I never really considered stopping my current dosages as I am a teenager, and I believe that I am 'invincible'. Nothing will happen, bros!

Hah, I was trying not to explicitly single you out in case that wasn't the motivation. I only thought of it probably because I'm an addict myself, and I recall posting threads looking for validation to keep on using with the old account in Other Drugs five or six years ago! So I thought maybe I might just be too far gone and totally off base, like normal people aren't tricky like that, only junkies

I will say this though, you can recognize that, and more importantly you don't seem bothered by talking about it, and being able to accurately assess your motives like that is good for anybody who uses drugs regardless of frequency of use of drug of choice!

While I certainly can't say this was a good thing I my case I knew I was going to get addicted and the invincibility thing ensured I didn't care. It wasn't even so much that I thought I could use without getting addicted, it was that I thought I could still be perfectly functional even if addicted. And I guess I still am, but it'd still be best to be clean I'm sure.

The point is not to single out DXM, the point is that taking excessive amounts very often of dissociatives – as is the case with pretty much every other drug but cannabis – is not good for you. Addiction is not good for you. We're rather off topic here since the OP wasn't talking about using DXM that frequently, but even at the frequency that he is using negative effects are showing up. As I said he may just be particularly sensitive to DXM's side effects.

Besides that, other than the dude who said he likes ketamine a lot more, nobody even said that DXM was a shitty drug. They did say that taking it every day or every other day is in their eyes foolish, but whatever, if exists wants to guinea pig, go for it. You seem to be imagining attacks against users of DXM where no such attacks exist, so what's the deal, why are you feeling like you're under attack?

I do not feel like I am under attack as I do not use DXM, however I do feel that DXM users in general are sort of looked down upon on drug forums. I was not referring to any particular comment made in this thread, except for the guy who had the brilliant idea of "just get some ketamine bro". Anyway, it isn't the first time I see this type of comment in a thread about DXM and I doubt it will be the last, so I was simply curious as to if and why DXM would be worse to use than Ketamine or any other dissociative.

Guys, is 600mg-1000mg DXM once per week too much? I have school starting soon, and I won't be doing DXM on the weekdays since I don't want to be robo-tripping at school. Also, I did a 700mg dose of DXM on Sunday night (3 days ago), and I noticed that the high wasn't as intense as before. It was still highly enjoyable, but simply wasn't as strong. I'm going to aim for once a week now, so hopefully my tolerance won't build up too quickly. Any feedback guys?

It might not be a coincidence that this HR forum is getting so much DXM attention, it seems a lot of people are potentially harming themselves with DXM. This is possibly because it is a popular drug not only among general dissociative afficionado's but also people who mostly use OTC drugs (due to several potential reasons).

This may be noteworthy to keep an eye on (I trust that I am not making a novel point here though).

I don't have to reiterate the side effects you're causing. That's already apparent to you - however, you are describing the classic signs of an addiction issue. Please seek help before it becomes more uncontrollable than it already is.

I think that the mild hallucinations that I was describing before were just me worrying about becoming addicted, as I have not noticed any side effects lately. Since school is starting soon, I will only be using DXM once a week.
