Yeah i've enjoyed the change of pace this dexter, although I still think it's second rate twaddle, when you have things like game of thrones to compare it to :)

Three episodes of continuum down, yes very watchable so far. I hope they develop the "terrorists" characters more though, I'd be disappointed if they didn't make something of the moral ambiguity in the hero going after freedom fighters, even if they're a bit indiscriminate with who they kill.

i aint too sure on this season of dexter, i wanted some crazy-ness. him going on the run or something. i loved the previous ones though. apart from the one with the religious shit, that one was lacking

It's watchable! ... I never said it was awesome. I said it was a better choice than Falling Skies. It does get better towards the end of the series.

Nearly finished deadwood season 3. i love it, genius dialogue, everything. bullock is a badass
 
Al's my fave character. my fave part of season three is when Wu cuts off his ponytail and becomes a fully fledged yank.

They were meant to be doing a feature length proper movie to finish the series off, which would've been perfect. It really had the content to do well in a movie format.

Shame they're not gonna do one. Would take a huge budget to put all the sets back together n stuff I think, and iirc the budget and getting the finance was gonna be one of the main problems

I've been watching it. It's not bad ... general 'filler' and worth watching. Haven't read the book so I don't know how far they can take the concept really. I'd say it's a little scant on plot but it's definitely got potential.

I'm gonna stick with it for now.
 
Same, al is amazing. what an actor. Wu and al together are brilliant

theres so many funny moments, cracks me up. the characters are nuts, sitting there talking to themselves, that eb farnam dude is a nutcase
 
yeah, E B was pretty special ... that's the thing with it, the characters were so damn good, and really varied too. Like the serial killer business guy. Even the side characters were fully developed and interesting.

I loved that they used actual living characters from that time too (as well as fictional ones) ... the one I'd have liked to of seen more of is Wild Bill Hickock (sp?) who died in the first season.

Also, the depiction of Calamity Jane was just fucking ace ... they developed the characters real well compared with how Doris Day played her. Couldn't be farther apart really

Anyone seen the documentry "UK scariest debt collector", they are some right horrible cunts. The bit where hes describing some guy dosent pay up so they just rape him and have a laugh about it, and he hangs himself shortly after.

Well filmed docu though, not your typical Vice one, its not done by vice but its on there channel..
