OTW has a long record of modding here at BL and his application was superb. you're all barking up the wrong tree.

There were many other applicants who were less vocal in their intent too.

He hasn't got you on ignore .

The ignore ting on here is stupid anyway cos it tells you that the person haS made a post n then it spikes your curiosity . So you have a gander . Unless it's someone really vile n there aren't many posters that fit in that category .

Zacly.... it leaves a MASSIVE box with a button on for seeing the post, which as you say spikes your curiosity something rotten.

There is an extension for Chrome, maybe FF as well, which you can add via Tampermonkey / Greasemonkey, and that is a PROPER ignore. Like it deletes the white box and everything. I installed that for Farmaz first time round. The trouble is, you can't ignore other people quoting them, or in that particular example, conversations which apparently go:

Person A:Hi all was just out on the allotment smoking a doob, it's lovely out there
Person B:Sounds awesome
Person C (on ignore):Allotments r 4 fuckin peedo's
Person A:FUCK YOU CUNTY

You still see the ripples. In the end software can only do so much for you. You have to find peace in your heart to actually fix the problem, or just hope the cunt gets smackup in the headpiece with the banhammer.
 
I could never ignore anyone cos my curiosity is just too damn strong :( Not that there's anyone that I wish to ignore right now, for the moment

Well fucking unfair given that one of the most inconsequential, dreary, adds-nothing tossers I've ever seen on this board is a mod. And ain't that the tooth.

My new laptop arrived!!!

getting Windows 7 disc in the post tomorrow, so can't really do anything with it yet other than marvel at the shininess.

And feel smug they now out of stock at ebuyer.
