Hank follows Walt and figures out how he's cooking. Hank confronts Walt at the warehouse and Jessie happens by (for whatever reason). Remember that Walt gave Jessie Mikes $5m and gun? Jessie ends up in a shootout with Hank and one or both of them end up dead. DEA bust in and put the blame all on Jessie. Walt walks away (or keeps cooking, who knows) and him and Skylar put the family back together.

I theorize it this way because Jessie is the only loose end that Walt hasn't done anything about yet.

Damnnn that actually makes alot of sense. But it would dispaoiting towards Skylar and Walt. I want something bad to happen to skylar lol

Maybe Marie stole the ipad and script.

Me too! I have been very confused by everyones reaction to Skylar. I think the way she is being is VERY realistic!

Many TV shows with predominantly male audiences have female characters the audience largely reviles. Skyler is an example. So is Winona from Justified. Rita from Dexter. Lori from Walking Dead. Margaret from Boardwalk Empire. President Roslin from Battlestar Galactica. Cheryl from Curb Your Enthusiasm. Etc.

Why? I think it has to do with most men sharing an archetypal notion of the Bossy Bitch. This is one reason why every man feels they've known Nurse Ratchet even if they've never been in a psychiatric hospital.

Its not necesseraly her reaction, its her attitude,her manners, her stupidity,etc.She makes me cringe,everytime she opens her mouth nuthin good comes out. The only time i appreciated her is when she was yelling shut up at marie lol. Both are first class annyoing cunts. I rather stay alone all life then marry one of those two. Andrea and Jane are cool, not annoying.

Or, it's because no matter how well done the show is, nobody seems to be able to write female characters in the role of a Skyler White or Margaret Schroeder in a likable manner, despite their intention to make them likable and relatable (at least in the case of Skyler White, this was the intention). They always make them into these detestable figures (figures more detestable than their murdering husbands, which says a lot) who do stupid, irrational shit, feel entitled to the final word on every issue concerning the family, and are generally just bossy, vindictive, malicious bitches.


I don't think it is purely a male thing, because most females I've talked to seem to despise Skyler as well.

You're obviously speaking from the viewpoint of someone who has never had to fear for their life or that the DEA was going to kick their door in at any moment. I've been in both situations, so I can overlook her character being a "cunt" in the situation. Even more so, being that she was thrust into it by her husband. She kicked him out and he came right back and refused to leave. Make no mistake, Walter White is 100% in the wrong here. The show isn't called Breaking Bad for the irony.

We've seen him go from a mild-mannered chemistry teacher to a cold-blooded killer who didn't think twice about poisoning a child to save his own ass. This is why his character has to die in the end. It's the only logical conclusion to this series. He's just lucky Skyler didn't do what she should have done in the first place, which is turn his ass over to the police when she first found out how much he put her and the children in danger.

I think you're right in that most of the Skyler hate comes from the fact that Walter is the protagonist and despite the fact that he's now pretty evil, people still "root" for him. Skyler is now a constant thorn in his side and it's easy to forget that the horrendous position they're now in was more or less entirely his doing. Her being a nag seems to outweigh all other sins.

Considering the flash-forward opening to the season, it's more logical that Heisenberg is free and continuing to cook once the season comes to an end, or that Hank dies sometime in the next year. It could be a case of this being a show where the bad guy comes out on top.

I got the impression from the flash forward that he'd just been rooted out of hiding and was prepping for a final showdown.
His changed appearance, the beard, clothes all seemed to indicate to me that he'd been holed up somewhere. Didn't he also ask about or have a map?

You're probably right, I was thinking how they were going to cover a year in 8 episodes when they spent 4 seasons on the previous year.

Walt going into hiding is a good way of skimming over 6+ months.

I have theories, i think jessie tries to kill walter when he finds out walts the one who poisoned brock and walter ends up killing him, blames it on jesse. Im not trying to be rude or anything, but you shouldnt say things like that whitout knowing...what if i tell you i lived almost a year with the fear of the popo knocking down my flat's door everyday? That i had to periodically knock myself out with xanax and alcohol because i couldnt sleep because every boom i heard in my head it was the cops and because of the paranoia? That more than once i had done excessive amounts of speed and i would sit for multpile hours on end being sure that TODAY is the day they come? And no it wasnt tweaker paranoia, i wasnt doing speed everyday, and its almost a miracle no raid happened. I am not going to go into specifis more than that because i wont incriminate myself for this shit. I might be young but ive been in enough shit to know.

That being said, i still ahte skylar. I understand that the purpose is to make Walter seem like a horrible guy, which it achieves. But that bitch is such a cunt i still have more respect for Walter. At first she is all hateful and shit because she learns he cooks meth, but when she knowsw what kind of money there is to make sudenly skylar is the queeen of money launderign and doesnt care no more. Like i said, its not only her decisions that it hate, but her whole persona. Her manners for instance. Her as a whole. But i have to agree with you i think walt may die at the end. Its logical. FInal showdown with Hank or Jesse. But i would love it if like skylar got killed in the crossfire or something and walt walks out on top. It would be a change for the typical bd guys die good guys win situation that is present in almost every film or show.

I also agree with HisNameIsFrank. I just find it hard to believe that writers doing such an awesome portrayal of characters and events "don't know how to write realistic character for women".
