DMT Coming out of the Psychedelic Closet

Well fixingahole (great Beatles song), it sounds like the OP's post was like a network news headline....."New scary stuff you and your family should be scared of....and how to avoid it before it kills YOU, next up at 9"

Ya know headline grabber, gets our attention. But the actual meaning behind the production...it's not bad. I mean psychedelic users should come out of the closet, shit DNA was 'discovered' by an acid head afterall.

The trouble is there's a difference between spreading the word to people who enjoy psychedelics and spreading the word to people who find drugs and drug users a terrible threat to their children. They'll see it as being akin to someone spreading the word about fascism and will simply find it antagonising.

Its hard to know where the average member of the public stands on psychedelic drugs.

DMT being already illegal world wide, and DMT being the most harmless psychedelic...ever...and DMT being available in every corner garden and interweb store.....doesn't really matter. It will take decades to erase the imprinting that 'dangerous illegal drugs' has made on people. I see no harm whatsoever with this.

Would love to know your thoughts

No, I don't get what he was trying to say in his first post. The way I read it, it seems like he was trying to say that "London Real (never heard of them) are breaking new ground on the psychedelic scene - again - and they're going to get a lot of backlash because DMT is coming out of the closet, and you can buy alpha-brain and hemp-brain from xbrain." =D

What a load of shit. Why do you want to provoke a backlash? A backlash from who?

No like I said, London Real and its host Brian Rose are the ones coming out of the closet as DMT users and believers in its use a medicine.

Backlash from established media and politicians, concerned citizens etc that do not understand the benefit of these compounds to humanity

IDK about that lol, DMT is one of the most intense drugs I've ever tried.. obviously. One hit and I was exploding into a land of psychedelia and mystery..

I almost did it on my deck too, which would have been BAD. Falling 20 feet while on a psychedelic would not have been fun, but gripped in that kind of trip there is little chance I would have been able to stop myself

I just sat through 30 minutes of tedious repetition to see a DMT experience that they didn't end up showing.

Well yeah it's very intense. And harmless. You could not overdose (toxic OD leading to death) if you tried your hardest. And being that it lasts 10 minutes I'd say the chances of an adverse reaction are a fraction of what LSD is...and based on how few emergency room visits are associated with DMT...I bet I'm am right.

A drugs danger is not just measured by how likely it is to land you in the emergency room, or jumping off a balcony.

I know a plethora of people who would have their entire mind held down and fucked mercilessly by DMT. My first extreme experience still to this day, years later has profound effect on how I look at, think about and interact with the world.

^ That kind of power is far from "harmless"

Humor me. What were the harmful effects you and a plethora of people experienced by taking DMT?

Really? YOu wanted to see people actually taking DMT n camera? I can't think of anything more boring and meaningless than watching a psychedelic experience from the outside...
I mean all it would be is a couple of people zoning out for 15min.

I'm curious.....

...there was a few YT comments of people seemingly disappointed that Brian didn't have some sort of spiritual epiphany; what are your feelings on this?

To me the psych experience is such a highly personal and subjective journey that anyone expecting others to have the same 'revelations' is simply projecting their own Ego and perception onto it.

I mean after all its an inward journey, you are going to see the inside of your own mind and THAT is why I think its so powerful.
