Urgh, overdid the codeine. Rashes, dizziness and general nastiness. Why do I insist on doing this to myself?

Too much codeine is fucking horrible to endure, antihistamines or nowt...Really makes you wish you had taken a 'real' opiate.
 
Codeine metabolises to morphine... In what sense is morphine not a real opiate? :?

Incidentally, had a rather opiated day myself today. ~300mg of codeine (in linctus form) for brekky with ~150mg of heroin as a chaser (see what I did there? :D) then a nice lil dig o' gear this afternoon (yes! an actual iv injection of heroin for first time in YEARS - one vein just popped up so had to give it some luuuuuurve really =D) then topped off with another attempt at a dig but vein long gone so had to plug it (which actually worked just dandily).

Not my usual kinda day seeing as I actually quit heroin a decade or so back but is in a good cause. Needed doing so did. May need doing one more time next week but will have to see. After that, won't need doing for quite some considerable time. Was nice though. Can see why I was so very fond of it for so very long. But ain't gonna be going back down that road again.

Oh, and Curious - schoolboy error. Anybody who uses codeine regularly should have a pack of antihistamines to hand at all times. Cos overdoing the codeine is pure hell :!
