Misc can someone tell me what MEPHEDRONE-KAT has been replaced with on the streets please!

Because im pretty much falling out with 2 people about it. -_- people saying its still the same chemical.. and im saying its not because of my experiance from when it was legal and when it was banned.. and theyre totally diffrent buz's alltogether..

(sorry if wrong thread i could see any other thing for 'mkat')
but i will stand hands down that it is not. The same. ¬_¬

dont even like it anymore but i just told people it wasnt the same and got shit for it. lol

Just tell them they're obsessed with a shitty knockoff and be on your way.
 
There is still real Mephedrone available. Some of the stuff people are selling is high quality Mephedrone, some is cut or lower quality Mephedrone, some is other substituted cathinones, some is any number of other legal or illegal alternatives.

Being as you're in the UK, Mephedrone is fairly widely available there still, but on the whole most people report the quality is a lot lower than when it was legal, which makes sense. If I were to take a guess at what your friends are buying, I'd guess that it probably is Mephedrone, just cut down by dealers to make profit, which is why you find it's not quite the same.

It could be any range of other things though and we can't really speculate. For this reason we don't allow drug identification threads here. Only way you can find out for sure is get some of the stuff tested - but even then you're only getting one particular bag tested, and you don't know what the dealer'll be giving you next week, could be the same stuff or could be something else.
 
Good and Bad

Here in my town there is shit Drone, (probably manufactured in UK), can be wet, clumpy and weak. Even yellow in colour... However we also sometimes get imported (from India), long shard stuff that is pretty much pure, now thats not as common but jeez... even a half G of that will have you rolling like mad.

Long shard import stuff is exactly the same as the pre-ban mephedrone, slightly more rare but extremely pure and potent.

I often wondered about that.

Pre ban mephedrone was made in china. Now it is illegal in most jurisdictions, so where does the mephedrone get made? Ok maybe some of it gets made in factories in India. What about the rest?

Have clandestine mephedrone labs really started popping up?

Makes sense. Make something really popular illegal only increases the demand for it.

I couldn't tell you mate.

A person I know has a contact in India and it's exactly similar to pre-ban in terms of purity. Othere than there, I don't have too much knowledge
 
As suggested above its likely been cut to increase profit and if its been cut with something like amphetamine (dirt cheap in the UK) then it could ruin the buzz alittle (like with MDMA).
I would also think its very likely that clandestine labs have been setup, i dont think mcat is very taxing for a half decent chemist to synthesize.
