Most of the people on here are free-spirited drug-users that march to the beat of their own drum and don't live their lives according to the "letter of the law" at all! It's so hypocritical that these same people are taking the fact that Trayvon Martin might have been a little bit of a juvenile delinquent who smoked weed, drank cough syrup and stole a couple things as evidence that he must have brought his death upon himself! Trayvon Martin was just a run of the mill teenager who engaged in the same run of the mill teenager stuff that millions of kids in the US do!

The same people ranting and raving about their right to live free and use whatever drug they want and not be judged for it are on these threads supporting the idea that someone who has Arizona Ice tea and skittles is most likely a violent person because Arizona ice tea and skittles can be mixed with DXM and a side-effect of DXM abuse is violent behavior?! What leap that is!

I think a lot of us were...I'd venture to say most of us were the type of kids that experimented with drugs and dabbled in various illicit activities, some more than others. I went on to become heavily involved in drugs....I've never been the type of person that was "rotten to the core"...I've done my share of lying and stealing, but it's never defined my life....If someone took all the mistakes and dumb shit most of us did from 17 and younger and blew it way out of proportion and ignored everything else, you could portray a lot of people in a much worse light than Trayvon Martin....There's so many ignorant hypocrites out there that view anything against law in this really narrow-minded way....It brings out some sort of anger and desire to see other people suffer....Virtually every site on the web that posts crime news stories and allows people to comment on them has 10 douchebags making comments like "I hope he goes to jail for 20 years! Criminals belong in jail!"...I'd really like to see what some of these losers look like! It's funny though...the same people who get off on wishing harsh prison sentences on people for drug offenses and petty thievery seem to be the people that wanted Zimmerman to get off scott free!

I didn't wanna see Zimmerman go to prison for life....Shit, I would have been happy with 2 years....The fact that he got nothing and that people see nothing wrong with this situation disturbs me!
 
Well its that joke of a state that is called Florida which is the big issue. Is it not even more sickening that they let Casey Anthony walk free?

And the thing that really gets me is that apparently if you are a pansy who can't fend for yourself in a fist fight, even if you are a grown man and the person you are fighting is 17, then Florida considers shooting them is a perfectly acceptable solution to your problem.
 
What the hell BLers?? Everyone knows that "sizzurp" or "lean" is made out of Promethazine + Codiene cough syrup... that is all "sizzurp" is... it is just prescription cough syrup with codiene or hydrocodone in it... I can see and understand how younger teenagers could get confused and think that sizzurp is just OTC cough syrup... But to be honest with you guys, in America, there is really no such thing as codiene + promethazine cough syrup anymore. I mean you BLer's should know this by now. The cough syrup they are prescribing now (and have been prescribing for the past decade) is hydrocodone + some weird ingredient that will make you sick and poison you if you take more then you are supposed to. I mean com'on guys how retarded are you people that think 'sizzurp/lean' is DXM?!?!? lol my god i am dumbfounded by the retardeness of some of you in this thread! MY GOD!

There's several things going on here that may be implicit and not immediately obvious. One of them is that not everything on this forum is, shall we say, Bluelight-approved harm reduction data. The media writes some good articles, but it also spews a bunch of inaccurate crap. This article is in the latter category.

I don't think anyone in this thread is confused about what lean is. Trayvon's friend might have been confused about it in 2011, but that doesn't necessarily mean Trayvon was.

For me, the most important thing was that the liver damage claim was dealt with.

ETA: And after all, he was just 16 when that Facebook exchange took place. When I was 16 my chemical knowledge was pretty limited too. I thought the W on the periodic table stood for Wood.

Albeit highly overpriced for what it actually is. Weak ass codeine....
 
They really will do anything to drag this kids name through the mud wont they. I mean honestly, how is possession of a drink and some sweets supposed to be portrayed as evidence he was likely some drug user?! I would bet that 100% of Western kids at some point in their life have been in possession of skittles and soft drink at the same fucking time it certainly doesn't justify shooting them or even speculating that they are a drug user.
 
^There's a lot of people I know that have done, sold and have access to more drugs than you can shake a stick at that believe all kinds of ridiculous shit! Not everyone who does drugs really cares to know exactly what the fuck is up with them....He probably just meant that you can get high off the DXM syrup but the codeine syrup is just a better form of cough syrup to get high from...Although the two are nothing alike....And to be fair, DXM is an opioid of sorts but doesn't act as one at all in higher doses...

The funny thing is you can buy all the shit needed to make lean OTC in Canada as long as you can manage to do a extraction. Though for some stupid fucking reason no goddamn pharmacy seems to stock promethazine :! . So just swap the promethazine for say doxylamine and you can just do a CWE on some Mersyndol tablets and use some kinda drink to mask the godawful taste and boom you got Canadian lean at about $15 per bottle of 100 8mg tablets. :) . I don't get why it's such a big deal though i mean codeine is okay for getting the sick off when you don't have your opiate of choice and it's good to mix with benzos when your a newbie but i certainly wouldn't fucking pay $100 for a small bottle of the shit. Hell even the codeine contins which go up to 300mg's a pill and are easily made into instant release are so cheap on the street that they are hardly worth selling. The only time we used to get codeine pills was when we would mix the 30mg pure codeine pills in with some Demerol and/or Valium (all easily gotten from some older guys in exchange for hash or shrooms) to get a nice little pharmaceutical cocktail going. We didn't really have the internet when i was Martins age so nobody even knew about DXM. I didn't even try the stuff until i was 21 or 22 i think so i had tried nitrous oxide and PCP long before i tried DXM.

I don't know why they are trying to make this into a big deal. But then again i guess no BLers ever took codeine or DXM when they where 17 cause where all like straightedge here 8) . Actually most BLers would have probably have graduated to Heroin and PCP by the time they where 17 =D

If pure codeine is readily available in Canada, do you think any of the street opiods going around could be home-made from codeine? I'm not talking about desomorphine (krokodil) and I am not a chemist and know next to nothing about it, but I have read somewhere that codeine can be turned into much stronger opiods relatively easy for an experienced chemist. Do you think may be possible?

I guess your talking about homebake. Yes some of the heroin in Canada is made from codeine pills either the OTC ones or prescription ones. It's by no means a huge thing as far as i know but yeah some people do make that shitty homebake Heroin out of codeine pills. They used that excuse as a reason to limit the sales of OTC codeine to 100 pills per person in a month in my province. It's a totally unenforceable rule as not every place asks for ID and in any case you can just go to a different pharmacy. Usually the homebake shit is only circulated in small groups of people and i think some of it is only made into morphine which makes more sense to me actually. You could no doubt sell it as smack in anycase due to the questionable quality and high price of smack in most of Canada.
 
I find it humorous that the opinions of the major news networks is based on which side of the political spectrum they land on, pandering to whoever makes up the demographic of their audience, whether it be the liberals or the conservatives.

Yeah, homebake is what it's called in New Zealand as well, I wasn't sure if you'd know that term.

Canada would have a much larger supply of real heroin than us islands down here, I suppose, which would make it less widespread.

I've never tried homebake, but it sounds like you believe it's pretty crap, and that's what I thought it would be. Scary putting something like that in your veins.

"Homebake" is such a finicky and nasty process (needs some nasty reagents which are hard to acquire, takes a lot of practice, low yielding, apparently it is not easily scalable either) that I can't imagine it supplying more than a trivial amount of the yearly demand for heroin.

Put frankly, most people don't have the equipment, patience, or know-how to do anything more complex than a CWE. I think stuff either coming up the eastern seaboard (eastern) or from Asia (western) probably supplies more demand than anything else.
