CBD In Cannabis With Little THC Please

Would that be the Sensi Seeds Hashplant? Has anyone here tried the Maple Leaf Indica?

Also with the late harvest thing I think there is less CBD and more of the THC has degraded into CBN. Sometimes later harvest buds seem to get you more messed up rather than just chilled.

I've noticed from past guerrilla grows, late harvest plants that were (frosted, sleeted - flower-tops hanging to the ground) had more of a concentrated nature of both THC and CBN than the same plants in a sheltered area of the same grow...

Not familiar w/ the maple leaf.

no it doesnt matter on the indica or sativa content of the plant as some of these are bred out specifically for CBD content not sativa or indica.

well it doesnt matter in terms of total CBD as some sativas will have high CBD, but also v high THC. however the % of CBD against THC relatively speaking is much higher in indicas, compared to sativas.

may b wrong but this is how i understand it

I'm pretty sure that both indica and sativa in modern cannabis are selected mostly to have high levels of THC and negligible amounts of CBD Just a random but decent sized sample of illegal cannabis most of it with less than 0.1% CBD

It's probably a different story in places where they have wild cannabis and traditionally grown cannabis. Also breeders like the one living in the alps mentioned are now selecting those rare plants that have the high CBD genes and trying to stabilise that trait.

Bubba Kush is worth a shot. But I think it may be 'clone only', so it might be more difficult to obtain. But the last time I smoked bubba kush it felt like a completely different drug. So mellow and the body high was so relaxing. It does have some THC but it's a heavy CBD strain.

Maybe do a crockpot or stovetop glycerin extraction? But at the end of the extraction(after filtering out the plant material) heat it up to around ~325F to boil off most of the THC while still leaving most of the CBD. Should work since THCs boiling point is around 300F iirc, and CBDs is over 400F.

As far as strains go, I think harlequin or cannatonic would be your best bets for CBD. I've also read that you can get a higher cbd/thc ratio by extracting CBD from the leaves before buds ever form, but I think you will end up with less CBD overall, just a higher ratio.

Im not familiar with how oil is made, but if the extraction involves temperature....couldn't the same be done with the extraction as with a vape. Theoretically couldn't someone extract the THC using the lower temp and then use the same material to make a "CBD" oil? This way medical growers could actually yield a THC and a CBD oil from the same harvest?

CBD SEEDS are the best for high cbd requirements from what ive heard and its either dutch passion or mr nice seeds that do a strain in a joint project with the cbd crew i forget its name now. Desperate to try the cbd strains i am. Does anyone know if these strains are available in any of amsterdamse coffeeshops ?

Bubba kush is absolultely not clone only. Plenty of breeders out there, dna, gh, HSo, CC etc...It is not high cbd low thc. Actually, my bubba thc content is in the 20-25% range.

It's a bit misleading but I believe what he means when he says clone only is that the strain isn't produced by a mother and a father, like breeders do when they produce the seeds of their various strains. It's kept alive solely by vegetative propagation through sharing clones, just like classic examples such as exodus cheese or 707 headband. Now you can have copies which are very similar (so much so breeders can safely even give the same name) but they will never produce plants that are genetic clones. Hence the term 'clone only'.

That's a separate discussion, mang.

seeatom, what exactly are you looking for? Like, ways to extract CBD only from weed, or strains of cannabis with little-to-no THC content but high CBD content, or just like an all-encompassing thing on CBD?

Personally, I haven't got the slightest clue how to go about doing a CBD extraction. There is a relatively recent development with high CBD/low THC strains, though. There's a thread on it here in CD, I'll link to it in a minute.

[EDIT: http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/threads/664811-New-marijuana-with-only-CBD-or-cannibidiol-and-no-THC]

Also, I remember someone posting a seemingly all-encompassing chart of the vaporization temperatures of the most sought after chemicals in cannabis. I'll see if I can find it and link to it for you.

[EDIT: It was in the CD Directory, man. Good looks to Chainer for making that shit retardedly easy to find. I'm putting it in NSFW tags because it's a long post, don't want to take up too much space:

One thing we can't do here on the public forum part of this site, however, is discuss where to obtain these chemicals or the prices you would be charged in order to obtain them. Just so you know in the future. :)

thank you for posting all of this info
