Sticking with the TV theme. Any other Dexter fans sick of it? I really can't be fucked with it any more. I used to always watch it as soon as I could on a Monday, now I can't be fucked at all. I've still not watched episode 3. I'll probably charge on with it though, seeing as this is the last season. If it wasn't confirmed as the final season I reckon I'd just stop watching it now.

do you find pregabalin gives you an appetite? I've had 600mg this morning and have been eating constantly...which is no bad thing...does it help you sleep aswell, in normal circumstances? I think there are worse things to be taking than pregabalin tbh. hope your hangover improves anyway, take it easy.

Pregabalin always makes me hungry/greedy (not to the extent of weed or GBL though) and helps me sleep a LOT easier.

Helps with hangovers too...But I think benzos/etizolam are better for that. Still feeling a tad heavy headed and tired but improving.

Always have a 300mg cap when I take it. Been meaning to try 2 caps though... Just a bit worried about liking it too much and using up my supply twice as fast. How long do you feel 600mg for? I take 300 10am or 11am usually and still feel it at midnight. Rate the stuff very highly actually. Much better than benzos (for me.)

DAMN I would like a smoke right now. Pathetic I can't acquire it in my home town tbh.

I was initially prescribed to take it twice a day, morning and evening, but I find the effects generally wear off after about 5 hours, so I've ended up getting a 3 a day prescription, 225mg twice a day plus an extra 150mg to take if necessary each day - so I'm now on the max prescribable dose of 600mg a day in total. But to be honest I sometimes will just take 300-600mg in the morning or through the course of the morning, and maybe a couple more in the afternoon and in teh evening, depends how I feel. Some days I don't take any atall or just one 150mg in the morning, esp. if I'm supplementing it with MXE.

Sometimes I just binge on the stuff which isn't ideal because I run out before the prescription is due to be renewed, but generally I try to make it last the whole month.

I've been on 150mg twice a day for like a year and a half without increasing the doseage, but now its on the max so hopefully my tolerance will hover around where it is and I won't need to go higher. Not sure why the limit is 600mg a day...

Overrated.. Have any of you seen the original Danish version of the Killing called 'Forbrydelsen'!.. Awesome show it's really a must watch!

I think they must just be playing it safe with the 600mg limit? I imagine there is a fair degree of safety if you go over that daily amount? Same with most things (I am only guessing though...)

ah that sucks man, you getting no sound output atall from it? I've just finally got my computer reinstalled and am going back through setting up my sample archive and installing plugins etc, hoping maybe this week I can get some time to get back on the tunesmithing, as I could probably do with the emotional outlet and I have been dying to get back on the production thing for months now.

Kinda wish ya hadn't said that, im just about to start season 7. The only really good season I thought so far is the one with john lithgow as the trinity killer.

i watched a few episodes and gave up on it. i think it was just a little too slow.

my favourite tv show is 'the west wing' so i like a frantic pace, machine-gun dialog and lots of long, tracking steadycam shots.

I wish I could manage to switch off and watch something like that once in a while, I can't even bring mself to give up the time to watch a film these days. Not much out there I particularly have an interest in seeing on the whole but once in a while the odd film comes along that genuinely gets me engrossed.

I'm very curious if you have ever had any withdrawal at all from pregabalin?

I'm taking it for a full year now, daily, started at 150mg and went up to 600-900mg over half a year, then quickly cut down to 225-300mg a day which I'm still at now. Have went a few single days without any pregabalin and appeared to be fine.

I feel jittery and irritable when I take MORE than 300mg a day now, oddly enough. Some sort of paradoxical reaction. 600mg will have me euphoric but also speedy and impatient.

I don't get the unsteady gait and the general drunkenness anymore, that diminished after a couple of weeks. But the antidepressant and anxiolytic properties remained. Much preferable to benzos and/or ssri for me.

A single 75mg dose still provides a noticable moodlift for 4-6 hours. Amazing. Tho there's a lot of horror stories on pregabalin WD out there too.

Oh yes, I have had very unpleasant withdrawal effects from with with abrupt cessation, especially after doing high doses several days in a row then stopping point blank. Symptoms very like flu, sweating, hot/cold flushes, runny nose, aching all over in my joints.

I get this paradoxical reaction too where it leaves me feeling slightly 'rarrr lets go get shit done!' which I find quite useful sometimes but can feel a little frustrating aswell if my mind is all over the place and unfocused on something useful to do.

Very interesting drug on the whole, the pain relief from it is somethng of a godsend for me as I am taking paracetamol almost daily for intractable pain at the moment and as an adjunct to that it really works wonders for neuropathic and muscular pain. (In my case anyway)

Ok.... I'll try explain in my layman's terms (because it is I who is the layman!) :

Right, I turn on my laptop and get no "Start up / log in sound".
So obviously I went straight to Control Panel -> Hardware & Sound -> Manage Audio Devices, went to my Speakers & Dual Headphones section, which is an IDT High Def Audio CODEC, and I checked the driver and updated it (in many combinations) many times.
Obviously I made sure that the levels weren't muted in every conceivable area.

While looking at the mixer / any visual sound property there is input sound from Media Player / Test Sound / The Bing applied to "Asterisk" you get the input, but there's no output from either the laptop's speakers or the output jack (aka. Headphones etc.).
It's been doing my head in for days!!!!!! 8(
If you could help I'd be extremely grateful!
