I really don't trust psychiatrists. But nevertheless, my psych told me today at an appointment I had with him, because I asked about vyvanse we had a discussion and he said something about it and I brought up stuff I had read on the internet-the conversion chart. That 70mg=22.5mg of d-amp.
Then he brought up a theory that he had brought up before and I wanted to know what you guys thought of it. He also said something I found kinda ridiculous and is (in my opinion) a good example of why not to trust psychiatrists. He said that he usually gives some people with ADHD vyvanse once in the morning and once before bed and they have the best night of sleep they've had in a long time....right.
But the theory was that I'm really just on 10mg of d-amp because thats the amount that's staying steady in my blood plasma levels or something like that. He said that because its 10mg IR I take it 3 times a day so I take it, it's active, I pee it out or whatever, take another, etc.
He said that with vyvanse it's 22.5mg steady in my blood plasma levels all day so its like taking 22.5mg three times a day...
this can't be correct can it? isn't 70mg vyvanse=22.5mg d-amp released throughout the day..?
