Wassup yeah so like title says i wanna get back in shape. I went from skinny to overweight in a matter of months since i stopped stims and other shit. I want to shed my beer belly fat and mostly get ride of a good % of my body fat. What are the best exercises, keep in mind im at home, gym isnt an option. Any advice is welcome !

Pull on some running shoes and run yourself into the ground. Body weight exercises like push ups, sit ups and pull ups will tone muscles but nothing sheds fat around your belly quite like running.

Pity it's so fucking boring

But yeah thanks for the advice, it would be great if i could start with fast walking though.

SLOW DOWN. You're running too fast. If you haven't been excercising in 4 years, your heart/lungs/legs won't know what the fuck is going on. You have to build up slowly. VERY SLOWLY. If you go out running at a decent pace, you will have a stitch in your side after just a few mins, you will end up hating it and chances are you will probably throw in the towel altogether and never do it again.

Don't do too much too soon. Sloooooow and steady. If you feel your sides burning, slow down some more. Get a routine. Try running 3 times a week for 15-20 mins to start. Slow as a motherfucker. Map out a distance on your phone or google maps, set yourself a 5k target. Eventually you can run a little faster and for longer.

Forget walking. If you're serious about losing weight give up drinking/eating sugary shit, drink plenty of water and pound the roads.

Thasnks for the advice man, sounds liuke a good aprroach to me. So no more juice, ice cream, cookies, etc right? I think im gonna drink more gin then beer too, i drik everynight to catch some sleep, beer isnt good for weight from what i know. What kind of food should eat? Salads? Meat?

Diet. Drop sugars, carbs (start eating rice) and milk products. Meat and vegetables/fruit only. Eggs, fish, etc. Watch the fat fly off with basic exercise. Buy an adult vitamin supplement.

You can eat comfort foods, but only if you eat ONE PORTION as a treat on occasion, ie. 1-2 per week.

As an added bonus I've heard you can drop caffeine as it effects metabolism. Or use it after heavy workouts.

Meth is terrible because it consumes a fuck ton of vitamins that your body needs. Try heavy cardio for a natural high.

Sure lots of salads and meats are very good but i'd stick to cutting out all the unhealthy shit right now. Coca Cola, Sprite all that fizzy shit should go. I wouldn't worry about Juice too much unless your drinking litres of the stuff. I don't know, maybe you don't drink any of it. Crisps/cookies/ice cream snacks like that everyday when your stoned are hard to resist but if you're eating that shit late at night it's pretty standard you'll be putting on weight. Try not to snack after 8 pm or whatever. Eat some nuts, fruits, yoghurts instead.

Try to get in a routine of excercise for a couple of months. After that you can serious about your eating habits. More protein, fruits and veg, less carbs blah blah blah

Rice? sushi is good right? fish, algues, and rice is a prett yhealty combo i think. I will follow the advice on on the comfors food. I eat alot of frozen shit, piazzas and shit i heat up in the oven or microwave and eat. I dont drink coffee i hate it. Fucking useless makes me edgy and agressive and unfocused if i drink like 4-5 cups. If i drink less i dont feel shit. I have to say i miss meth, there are days when i jsut think i should go get soem meth and xanax for the anxiety and drop all the weight. But its the easy way, might as well try the hard way. Im not down for another psychosis etiehr lol. But i never experienced a natural high from heavy cardio. Everytime i do alot of cardio i feel like im going to die from a heart attack for 5 mins and then im back to normal...

Ive replaced the fiiz shit like youi say with perrier, sparkling mineral water. FUck juice too because i drink litre of the shit in the first 12 hours of the day. Then alcohol in the last 12 hours or more if i cant fall asleep. Funny thing is ive gained liek 20 lbs since ive stopped smoking weed due to an anxiety problem. Ive stropped xanax, stims and occasional opiates too but still. I drink everyday. And the problem, is like right now ive had 10 coronas and some bombay gin and i have the fmucnhies and there is shit pizza in the oven again lol. I will make a better grocwery anhd focus on vegetables and fruits. I was fat at 14 years olds. at 16 i was lighter then i was at 13 from the speed. Im 19 now and back with a belly lol. I exercise everyday now too. TO both of you thank you for the advice, tis appreciated!

Walking is better than nothing. I have friends that have lost weight just by walking every day. It's about finding something and sticking to it.

you can eat whatever you want but it might take some extra effort to work it off. a strict diet wont help you get back in shape if you havent got the mindset and willpower to go with it. i dunno if you have one but i would recommend a road bike. an easy way to up your fitness at a pace that youre happy with.

if you can do say 30 miles spaced out its a great booster. 2 or 3 times a week it will make a big difference, you will probably find that you wont even want to eat the more rubbishy foods after this.

Roadbike is good butr i dont have and neither the money for it. I think i will train thourughly in muya thai, love that martial art.

Im getting myself back in shape as well, it took less than 2 months to go from pretty damn good shape to guy with double chin. I worked a very active job where I was moving for 8 hours constantly, lifting heavy shit constantly, always hustling to and fro. I was just over 170 with just the sliiightest beer pouch. Then I stopped the job and have been home all day eating and playing video games. I didnt realize the only reason I was able to eat whatever I want was because I exercised so damn much. I was up to 190 on the 4th of July with a double chin creeping its ugly head into family photos.

I stopped ordering combos with my fast food this past week, just the burger and a liter of water. I cut my Del Taco down to a half pound burito and a taco, instead of 3 half pound burritos and 2 tacos. It required some difficult self control, but if youre drinking a lot of water with your meal, it helps to fill you up. I was 183 yesterday morning, and I did really good the rest of the day yesterday + today. This right here is a fast food diet with no exercise that showed immediate results with hardly any effort. I probably cut my calorie intake a good 40% just ditching the large fries and 32 ounce Cokes with most meals. Drinking a lot of water really helps you feel full when youre used to eating much more food.

Im already looking and feeling better and expect to be fit again within the month, Ill probably be starting a swimming regimen tomorrow to fend off even more calories tomorrow, and some pushups to get some chest Ive lost to inactivity. I wish you the best of luck, hopefully your Muay Thai turns into a solid source of strength and exercise = ) I suggest cutting your portions about a 1/3rd and really pounding the water, theyve worked great for me the past few days.

High protein, high fat, low carb diet with low calories, strength training and cardio.

Start doing these things and it will be a healthy habit before you know it. Having a gym membership helps but isnt necessary.

You know, you reminded me of something one of my teachers in first grade told us one time. I've heard it elsewhere since, but our minds have a way of misinterpreting thirst for hunger pangs. That's part of the reason (I think) you feel fuller when you drink more water. Maybe next time you get hungry, drink a glass of water first and wait a few minutes?

I can also attest to the weight loss experienced from cutting soda from your diet. I went from five or so cans of soda a day (at least) to zero, cold turkey. I also cut juices, sport drinks, lemonade, etc. I lost ten pounds just by doing that, and it hasn't come back in over three years.

I cut out all sugary drinks from my diet a few months back. I don't have a issue with weight. The decision was made because it was the clear cause of some dental cavities I had acquired.
My weight before I stopped with soda and Red Bull was 190lbs. After a month of not drinking that shit I went down to 178lbs. No change in exercise routine, nothing except for that sugar. I was amazed. I'm still trying to put some of it back on in a healthy way.
