Making LSD

How easy or possible is it to synthesize LSD? Could someone like myself without access to a laboratory setting still create a small batch for personal use? if so are there any tried and true methods? anyone have experience or stories?

Try getting a phd in organic chemistry and acquiring a solid connection for restricted reagents then you might have a chance

I cant comment on the difficulty of the synthesis itself, the real problem is that all of the precursors are highly regulated. "Lysergic acid and lysergic acid amide, LSD precursors, are both classified in Schedule III of the Controlled Substances Act. Ergotamine tartrate, a precursor to lysergic acid, is regulated under the Chemical Diversion and Trafficking Act" -wiki

I believe there's an article on erowid about converting LSA to LSD but they concluded that it was not worth the time or effort as the yield was extremely low. Bluelight does not allow questions regarding synthesis so I'd say this is going to be closed

Yeah not a chance in hell friend. I had many a dream like this in my early teenage days (not saying you're a teen) and while they're not entirely pipedreams.. you've a long, long way to go if you truly want to be able to synthesize your own substances.
