british public wrong about nearly everything, survey shows

It's like saying "The british public believe the roads are busy...but if you count the roads in the scottish highlands too road use is only 11%". Where I come from it's whats known as a "cunts trick".

Yes, this cleared up a few things for me too. Humans have such a big/fragile ego being right is prerferrable to the actual truth. Which is more like an irrelevant thing on the side.
 
this is why we need David and co to look after us see. we know nothing, cannot do anything for ourselves.

surveys are full of shit actually. it all depends on who they ask. for all we know they could have just asked their mates in the office. you don't have to tell the truth when asked daft questions by daft people.

all aboutperception. I remember the last school I was at it wsa going thru a change in ethnic make up lets say. Staff were asked to say how many percent they thought there were of each racial group in each year group. They wildly over estimated, i didn't, i just did my maths on what I knew.
 
Thanks, Nnce to know it. Some find me a bit too nail on head when we disagree on certain issues.

Anyway, yes, I don't think anyone are invulnerable to this, it's easy to get led into it. My interest just lies more in coming to the truth of something than "winning" as it's what has the actual benefits. Even for the one who's in the wrong. I don't really understand the overall lack of interest in learning, I don't think most understand how much difference it can make in our lives.

I think part of it is people's egos are very strong/vulnerable. Part of it is many people are very aggressive always looking for a fight, and seeing it everywhere, assuming everyone else are the same. And part of it probably comes from growing up, going through school, and being made to feel diminished for being wrong (I have a great memory and never really experienced this but could be pretty bad for sensitive kids).

eh, not really.. those living in better off, mainly white more rural areas generally have no clue what theyre on about when it comes to urban issues of overpopulation, resource oversubscription, cultural insularism, community tension, housing problems, crime etc etc. doesnt appear like you intend to buck the trend, either
 
I live in one of the poorest regions in Europe you dickhead. Romania is rated as wealthier than where I live. Go and get a job in your urban paradise, parasite.

do you know what , I love a bit of everyone. Where I play camogie everyone comes to play. thre's american footballers, yesterday there were cameroonians having a barbecue, the hindus do their diwali there and the club house is frequented by fervent supporters of the edl. innit marverllous?
