Benzos IV diazepam dosage

Hey guys, so I got my hands on a couple of vials of diazepam. They're 10mg/2mL. I was wondering approximately how much of a dosage is needed for IV. I haven't taken benzos in nearly two years unless you count phenibut, which in that case it has been about a month to a month and a half. So really I have no tolerance anymore. I'm looking to get the similar effect as 2 mg alprazolam. I know that IV benzos feel a bit different compared to oral, but I'm just wondering what would be equivalent to that size of a dose.

Does the label say what it's dissolved in? Diazepam usually is insoluble in water.

40% propylene glycol, 10% ethanol, 5% sodium benzoate and benzoic acid, and 1.5% benzyl alcohol

Diaz is very well absorbed orally, IV will be pretty much the same potency. The textbooks say 10mg diazepam = 0.5mg alpraz, so that makes 40mg of diaz your target.

Agreed, and not only is it very well absorbed, it is absorbed extremely quickly, almost as fast as Xanax. So, if you take it sublingually (chewing it and holding it under your tongue for ~5 min), then I doubt you will feel any significant difference in onset time.

I too thought of these amps but the strength is too low to make it worthwhile shooting. You would have to shoot too large a volume of liquid. Anyway the only benzo i know of really worth shooting is midazolam and even that is pretty meh unless combined with opiates.
